With the record-breaking opening of The Hunger Games this past weekend, movie studios are eager to cash in on the dystopian teen-lit sci-fi trend. Multiple projects are currently in development, and we've got the details.

Warner Bros. has announced plans to begin development on the first of the Fourth Realm Trilogy - The Traveler - right away. Like The Hunger Games, the story revolves around the female protagonist, Maya, a Harlequin who must defend the last two Travelers against a world-dominating organization. John Twelve Hawkes, the elusive author of the trilogy, weighs in:

"I'm so pleased that the trilogy is at Warner Bros, a studio whose history of otherworldly storytelling is so indelible and whose vision for the Fourth Realm Trilogy is so inspiring."

An auction will get under way this week for Starters, a book by Lissa Price released two weeks ago. Starters also features a young girl forced to take on the world in order to save her younger brother. ICM is shopping the book and a script written by Price herself, and sending the package to studios.

Black Forest Film Group has also jumped on the teen dystopia trend and snatched up the rights to Lex Thomas' Quaranteen: The Loners, a book described as a cross between Lord of the Flies and The Warriors. The movie will center on the Thorpe brothers, as they fight to survive when a pretty girl threatens to come between them. The Loners will be in theaters as soon as July.

National kissing day is upon us and ClevverTV is counting down our top celebrity smooches! Kicking things off is a duo that met on-set before taking their romance into real-life. Ah yes, Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev -- the kiss these two shared on The Vampire Diaries lit the TV world on fire and changed the entire plot of the show. And we're guessing that fans out there watching this one time and time again.

And we couldn't talk about on-set love affairs without paying homage to one of our favorites of all time -- Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth. It was their kiss in their film "The Last Song" that had fans buzzing about a possible romance, and clearly that kiss was something special because more than two years later, these two are still going strong -- I mean check out this photo taken over the holidays last year -- they are back at the beach, and yes, they're still kissing!

Also going strong after several years together, are one of Hollywood's hottest couples -- Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart -- I think we're seeing a big trend here -- like our other two kissing couples, Rob and K-Stew also met while working together. Robsten keeps their personal life just that --personal, but their Twilight kisses ignited a fandom unlike any other, which is why Bella and Edward most definitely make our top celebrity kiss list.

Our next two couples are relatively new compared to our previous smooching duos, but both of these couples are not afraid to put their love out there and show some serious PDA -- first up we've got the adorable Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butlter who were first spotted out and about after a party for mutual friend Ashley Tisdale's older sister AND then we've got Pretty Little Liars beauty Lucy Hale and her new boyfriend Chris Zylka -- too cute!

Rounding out our top celebrity kiss list is a pair who's Hawaii-love-fest last year looked like it could have rivaled the romantic factor in the Notebook -- ah yes, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber. Their beach kiss could have just straight out of a movie and for that they are most definitely making the list. Overall it looks like a hot trend when it comes to celebrity smooches is that they all go down poolside or at the beach -- 4 of our 6 kissing couples were enjoying some fun in the sun when they were spotted by photogs -- interesting!

'The Avengers' Movie Review

Well its Monday and that means ONE THING...the avengers assemble in four short days! I was lucky enough to see the flick before it hits the big screen (I know, I Know), so here are MY thoughts on the avengers. Honestly, I don't even want to do a review bc it was just THAT good...nothing I say will justify the greatness of this flick...it's a must see, and joss whedon NAILED this one folks.

The action is edge of your seat, and you actually FEEL the connection between these superheroes...The avengers adventure is one you WONT want to miss out on...as cliché as it sounds, you will laugh, possibly shed a tear, and the final act will be better than the perfection you hope for.

So we all know the premise...Nick Fury Assembles the avengers so they can save the world from evil loki and his army...which spoiler alert, are in fact the chitari. As the avengers are gathered from their respective lives, we get a glimpse into whats been going on for each of the superheros...so its safe to say, this film is for everyone...not just those with a deep knowledge of the marvel universe. The big question leading up to the avengers was, will it be TOO over the top for the average consumer to enjoy...while it is over the top, in the best way possible, its not so convoluted that it would hinder a non master of the marvel universe from understanding whats going on. Of course the extra knowledge helps piece together the plot much better, but by no means was it required to have scored an Aplus in avengers 101 --- although, if you hav a chance to watch iron man, thor, or cap America prior to heading out to see the avengers, it wouldn't hurt and will probably make the film even more enjoyable for you. Either way, the movie will and DOES make sense for everyone.

While all the super heros brought their a game, I will say the hulk stole the show. Why? Well, he is one of the avengers we, as average movie goer knew the least about. Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America have graced our silver screens in the last couple of years...hulk, not so much. But Bruce Banner was the troubled guy we could all relate to, and the hulk was the dude we were rooting for to just tear ish up...and that he did! One of my favorite scenes in the movie featured him literally "smashing" loki on the ground...sorry for the spoiler...it was amazing...and the entire theatre lit up with laughter...bc while the hulk is someone not to be messed with...there was comic relief in his delivery...a perfect balance between the two.

And that is the best way for me to describe the avengers. A perfect balance...the film brought us the in your face action we all craved and anticipated, but didn't forget about the story...the emotion that kept us in our seats, highly engaged for the duration of the film. I was rooting for the avengers not only because they were the heros, but also because throughout the movie, we got to know the characters on a deeper level than just butt kicking super heros.

All in all The Avengers is a must see for everyone and comes highly recommended from us at clevver movies. The film is already breaking records internationally, and come Friday, I am thinking may be the biggest superhero film of all time.

What's up gamers, there's some interesting news about Resident Evil 6 coming out of Playstation Magazine. It appears that players will be getting three completely different campaigns in Resident Evil 6 and the campaigns will be playable in any order. The three campaigns are as follows you've got Chris Redfield who will be running around the a city in China trying to prevent a full-scale bioterrorism outbreak. We're not entirely sure why Chris is in China but we do know it has something to do with Ada Wong, so she'll be in this game as well. This campaign will be closer to the style we've been seeing in Resident Evil and 5. Lots of action and a little lighter on the horror aspect.

Leon Kennedy will also have a campaign which you might have guessed by the trailer. His first order of business will be dealing with the fact that the president of the United States has been zombified as shown by the trailer. This campaign will be getting back to the Resident Evil roots and be very focused on survival horror. I'm thinking limited ammo, creepy dimly lit environments and a lot of suspense. It's good to see Resident Evil making a campaign that will cater to fans of the original games. I'm really looking forward to this campaign.

The third campaign will feature the new guy on the block Jake Muller. He's Albert Wesker's son and he's immune to the C-virus. That's right the newest incarnation of Umbrella's zombie makin formula is called the C-virus as opposed to earlier versions like the G and T virus. Muller is paired up with Sherry Birkin son of the G-virus creator William Birkin. Sherry is trying to convince Muller to help her make an antidote to the new C-virus because Muller is immune. Muller however is more interested in making money as a mercenary to support himself and his mother.

In addition to learning about the new campaigns we've also learned that zombies will now wiled axes, pipes and guns which can be taken away from them and used against them. That's interesting. The game is set to release October 2nd so we'll be keeping an eye on this one and updating you as information comes in.
