Joshua Ledet fails to make the top 2 in a shocking American Idol results show! Hey American Idol fans, you're watching ClevverMusic! On American Idol last night, gospel crooner Joshua Ledet was voted off the show, finalizing Jessica Sanchez and Phillip Phillips as the Top 2. The pair will square off in the finale next week at the Nokia theatre in Los Angeles.
We we're shocked to see judge favorite Joshua go home, as he was highly praised during the season as being one of the best singers ever seen on the show. He received countless standing O's and because of that, we're certain this isn't the last we'll see of the 20-year-old Louisiana boy. Joshua closed the show by singing 'It's A Man's Man's Man's World,' during which he gave J.Lo (who is his biggest fan) a long hug goodbye.
American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert performed his new single last night on the show in a fantastic neon inspired number. Lisa Marie Presley also performed her new song, 'You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet,' from her just released 'Storm & Grace' album.
