2011 Grammy Winner Predictions
http://bit.ly/eBd8wT - Click to Subscribe! Who's going to win at this year Grammy Awards? Find out the predictions Next! Hello everyone I'm Brian Corsetti for Clevver Music. It's that time again, The Staple Center is going to light up for the 53rd annual Grammy Awards, and I've got my predictions right now. Album of the Year Arcade Fire, The Suburbs Eminem, Recovery Lady Antebellum, Need You Now Lady Gaga, The Fame Monster Katy Perry, Teenage Dream Like every year it's a close call. The Grammy's are the hardest award show to predict, and its known for another band to come out from underneath to take the win. In this category Katie Perry's Teenage Dream was an absolute hit, but I don't think it has enough pull a win, however its going to make an amazing greatest hits album. Eminem's Recovery, made my eyes open. It's the typical comeback story which people are suckers for like myself. He got a lot of attention recently, he's up for 10 nominations, Dr. Dre produced the album, and there's been a lot of commercial appeal. Plus Dre and Em are going to be performing at the Grammy's for the first time in over a decade!!! Arcade Fire was great, but I'm going to go with Recovery for the Win only because I love Eminiem, but I'm a sucker for a come back. Record of the Year B.o.B (featuring Bruno Mars), "Nothin' on You" Cee Lo Green, "F--- You" Eminem (featuring Rihanna), "Love the Way You Lie" Jay-Z and Alicia Keys, "Empire State of Mind" Lady Antebellum, "Need You Now" Nothin' on You" went to #1, but it's not even B.o.B's most popular song; "Love the Way You Lie"; and "Empire State Of Mind" reached the peak of its popularity way back when I'm Thinking "Need You Now is going to win. Because you can't have a country song NOT win in the big 4. Plus all of Nashville will get pissed! Song of the Year Cee Lo Green, "F--- You" Eminem (featuring Rihanna), "Love the Way You Lie" Lady Antebellum, "Need You Now" Miranda Lambert, "The House That Built Me" Ray LaMontagne and the Pariah Dogs, "Beg Steal or Borrow" This category has Love the Way you Lie written all over it. Remember I said I was an Eminem fan right? His album came out at the right time, and it was a great comeback. Plus it's all about the lyrics in the category and Em is known for some sick lyrics. Best New Artist Drake Esperanza Spalding Florence and the Machine Justin Bieber Mumford & Sons Esperanza Spalding, is out because I don't think a lot of people have heard of her. Drake sold a lot of albums, and might take the win, but my gut is telling me no. Florence and the Machine have the skills, she's female (which grammy voters love) but I'm not convinced. Mumford & Sons don't have enough traction in the US yet but will eventually get there. Which leaves us with Justin Bieber...the only thing holding him back is his age. If he does not win its because people feel he has enough time to make up for it. However I have bieber fever...he's truly a talented kid, so my prediction is Justin Bieber. But seriously... we want to hear your predictions. Let us know in the comment section below and remember to keep checking back for all the latest music news and buzz right here on Clevver Music.

The Grammys earn show-stopping viewer numbers.  Stay tuned for the performance recap.   Hi guys.  Welcome back to Clevver TV.  Im your host Dana Ward with the 2010 Grammy recap.   This years music awards show received the biggest audience since 2004, with an impressive 25.8 million average primetime viewership, and many people are linking it to the back-to-back and often times collaborative live acts.   The night started strong with a memorable Lady Gaga performance.  After quite the introduction, Gaga sang and danced her way through some of her tracks, and Elton John joined her for a piano duet.  Poker Face, Speechless and Your Song got featured.  Plus, I gotta mention that the sparkly green monster-esque costume for LG was frighteningly fabulous and Elton John is quite a good sport for following suit with bedazzled sunglasses and an ash-filled face.    Up next on the docket, we got to see Beyonce get down and dirty with If I Were a Boy as well as a cover of Alanis Morissettes You Oughta Know, and Pink impressed the audience with her Cirque de Soleil moves in the air while performing Glitter in the Air.   Green Day rocked out 21 Guns with a Broadway chorus, Black Eyed Peas had a good night with a robotic theme and Jamie Foxx did an opera-costumed version of his Blame It.   And yet another performance team-up between a now artist and a legendary musician Taylor Swift and Stevie Nicks sang some of their favorites, including You Belong With Me as well as another segment with the Zac Brown Band and Leon Russell.  Lady Antebellum beautifully performed Need You Now, Bon Jovi rocked a trio of songs, plus we got to see Eminem back on stage, as well as Drake, Lil Wayne, Travis Barker, Mary J. Blige and Dave Matthews Band.   Plus, we must mention the 3-D Michael Jackson tribute performance with Earth Song, featuring Celine Dion, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood and Smokey Robinson.    It certainly was a music-packed night and there was even more to celebrate than we mentioned.  Which Grammy performance was your absolute favorite?  Tweet us @clevvertv.  Im Dana Ward.  Thanks for watching the show.

Selena Gomez Sings Bidi Bidi Bom Bom!
http://Twitter.com/ClevverTV - Follow Us! http://Facebook.com/ClevverTV - Become a Fan! So Selena Gomez recently performed at the San Antonio Rodeo and she made it a very special stage show. The Disney star chose to sing a cover of Bidi Bidi Bom Bom, a popular Spanish song made famous by the former Latina popstar, Selena. In fact, Gomez says she was named after the musician because her family loved her. And speaking of love, Gomez's rumored boyfriend Nick Jonas was in the audience for the Rodeo concert, and thanks to SwirlyGirly808 for tweeting us some info, Selena said BEFORE singing I Won't Apologize that she did write the song but it's in the past now... meaning she totally forgave Nick. And obviously since - again - he was in the crowd supporting Selena. Also, in Gomez music news, the teen is set to have the final show for the Rodeo Houston event alongside Justin Bieber on March 21st. The concert series featuring a bunch of artists including the Black Eyed Peas, Lady Antebellum, Kenny Chesney, Mary J. Blige, Rascal Flats as well as the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato on March 7th. Hey guys, I'm Joslyn Davis at our studio with the 411 on which music stars are rounding out this year's top honors list. The Grammy nominations were just revealed and Justin Bieber fans should be glad. The Biebs, who was live via satellite from London, was almost lost for words it seemed, when he learned of his two Grammy nominations, saying "it feels amazing, I can't believe I'm in this position." He added that he doesn't necessarily feel like a superstar but just a regular person living his dream. Other biggies in the music biz will be turning out for Grammys, which will be live from the Staples Center on February 13th, and aired on CBS. Eminem pulled in the most overall nominations, turning out a whopping 10 bids, while Bruno Mars, who is a relative new-comer knocked everyone's socks off, by coming in second with seven noms. Also getting some well-deserved recognition are Lady Gaga, Jay Z, Rihanna, Cee Lo Green, Lady Antebellum, and another famous Canadian, Drake. We'll have a link to the full nomination list for the artists over at ClevverTV.com, so make sure to check that out and let us know what you think. 2011 Grammy Awards Winners Rewind: Was Justin Bieber snubbed?
http://Facebook.com/ClevverTV - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverTV - Follow Us! Was the Biebs robbed of his Grammy Award? ClevverTV has the scoop on this year's winners and more. Hello music fans -- what's going on? I'm Joslyn Davis for ClevverTV with the rewind on last night's Grammy Award show. Overall, I've gotta say that the performances were off the hook, but when it came to the actual award winners, I think it's safe to assume that a lot of fans out there were a bit surprised. Not that's not to say that the winners weren't deserving of their trophies, however insiders are still buzzing about a few categories in particular. First up is Album of the Year, which went to an amazing group -- if you're not familiar with them -- you must check them out -- Arcade Fire took home what many consider the night's top honor for the their album, The Suburbs. They beat out others including Katy Perry, Eminem, Lady Gaga and the night's overall champion Lady Antebellum. Speaking of which, Lady A rocked the house, nabbing a whopping 5 grammys. However the biggest upset of the night, and the award that has everyone scratching their heads was the award for Best new artist went to Esperanza Spalding. Many Grammy viewers were not familiar with the singer prior to her win for an award that many thought Justin Bieber was shoe-in for. Of course Beliebers continue to be beside themselves with sadness. ClevverTV even received tweets from Bieber fans who were admittedly crying over the Bieber loss. Even Justin himself said that he was disappointed, but he has been very gracious in this situation. Of course though, we have to ask the question -- do you think the Biebs was robbed or what? Let us know by hitting the comments section and stick with ClevverTV by following @ClevverTV on twitter. Until next time, in Hollywood, I'm Joslyn Davis, thanks for watching!
