Candace Bushnell, the author and creator of Sex and the City is back in action with a follow-up to her first prequel "Carrie Diaries." The new book is titled "Summer and the City," and Carrie Bradshaw and her friends during their early, uncertain days in New York City. While Candice doesn't have anyone in particular in mind to play a young Carrie in a possible film adaption of "Summer and the City," she told The Daily Caller that she does have an actress she'd like to see play Charlotte York, and it's none other than Selena Gomez. The successful author said that after looking at some photos of S-G she thought "she's so pretty," saying "gosh, wouldn't she be great?" Selena's look would definitely be a great fit, considering her brunette resemblance to Kristin Davis. Plus, fans would definitely see Selena as being someone who could believably bring the wholesome, hopelessly romantic character of a 20-something version of Charlotte York to life.
