Hi guys, thanks for checking back with us at clevver movies, Im your host Tatiana carrier with the details on the tin tin sequel! . While talking to Collider during the 'Tintin' press gauntlet, producer Kathleen kennedy gave a tentative timetable for the next film, which Peter Jackson is still tapped to helm. She said, "Oh yeah it is being moved forward, in fact Steven and I were talking about it this morning. We're working on a script right now, we'll see a script probably February or March...If we can do some camera capture this summer, which I think we could do, then we would be on track to have the movie either Christmas 2014 or summer 2015, and so that's what we're looking at right now." . If you're like us, your probably wondering how in the world Peter Jackson is going to find the time to film a sequel in addition to his TWO hobbit flicks! Well, it may be more realistic than we can imagine...Since Spielberg admitted earlier that the 'Tintin' movie was essentially 85% traditional animation and 15% live action elements, it would probably only take a few weeks to "film" the new movie before being shipped off for completion over the next few years. SO IT ISSSS POSSIBLE! . 'Tintin,' opens December 21st, so we are looking forward to see how ppl take to the flick! Do you guys plan on checking out the first tin tin this holiday season? deXtra have no one musical influence. Every band, musician and singer who has ever graced a stage may be added to deXtra's long list of influences, which already include ELO, The Beatles, and the whole "Manchester sound" of the early 90?s, as well as a healthy throwback to classic 80's rock bands such as Depeche Mode and The Cars.
eXtra formed around the summer of 2001 when lead singer Declan Grange along with his brother Peader decided to get the old band back together. They were soon joined by Gary on guitar and by Paul on keyboards. After a change of line up and a few members came and went, deXtra finally drafted in Damien on bass and Jimmy on lead guitar. -
The band got to work straight away, rehearsing and writing new songs. The music was finally coming together. The realisation hit straight away that deXtra had the ability to create raw and gutsy music and to captivate audiences no matter what the age. -
An extensive gigging campaign began, the world needed to hear the music. Following a triumph in the "Exposure" battle of the bands in Nov 02' and a runner up prize the same weekend in Da2 Club and later another runner up prize in the "Axis Battle of the Bands" leading to the new look deXtra recording a demo which caused a mass of public interest. -
In early 2003, deXtra were short-listed from over 500 bands for inclusion on the first IrishUnsigned compilation cd "Scene Unheard" alongside prestigious artists such as Sutras, The Answer, Label and Pharaoh House Crash, having previously been described in an IU review as "probably the most entertaining live band in Ireland". It was due to this cd and IrishUnsigned that deXtra would become a household name. The song chosen (Feelin' Blue) caused some interest in the industry being played on 2fm and described by Dave Fanning as "a bloody good song". -
It was in the aftermath of this that Hotpress magazine reviewed the IrishUnsigned compilation cd launch in Eamonn Dorans, describing deXtra's music as "scally-rock of the highest order" and looking favourably on the band as the "next big thing", before going on to describe them as looking like "a full monty-esque bunch of guys plucked from the streets of Temple Bar an hour before the gig". This article gained the band a considerable underground status as one of the best live acts around. -
After many appearances at local Dublin hotspots such as Eamonn Dorans, The Isaac Butt, The Temple Bar Music Centre, The Sugar Club, Whelans and a successful gig alongside Aslan in The Village, deXtra went to record their first single with top producer Liam Mulvanny. -
"Angel From Heaven" was released in march 04'. After shifting enough copies in its first week to reach number 5 but was nowhere to be seen in the official Irish charts, Seamus Kelly and The Ballymun Concrete news broke the story which was later taken up by the News of the World, The Star, The Mirror and The Irish Sun. "Angel From Heaven" was then taken as a discussion point on 98fm and The Adrienne Kennedy show on fm104. -
deXtra are currently busy working on new songs to preview at the glasgowbury festival while working on their first album to be released early next year in between doing some successful acoustic gigs in the likes of The Sugar Club, The Boom Boom Room and Radio Stations such As Near 101.6 fm, Phoenix fm, Spin fm and regular spots in and around Waterford's Beat fm.

While it didn't necessarily break box office records here in the US, The Adventures of Tintin was a definitely a massive success across the globe. Director steven speilberg recently sat down with producer Kathleen kennedy to talk tin tin 2. Here is the low down!

Regarding the sequel, he said, "Peter [Jackson]'s doing it. I wanted to do it, but Peter has to because we made a deal. I said, 'I'll direct the first one, you direct the second one.' And Peter, of course, is going to do it right after he finishes photography on The Hobbit. He'll go right into the 31, 21 days of performance capture."
As to what books they'll be drawing from story-wise for the sequel, everyone involved has been pretty hush hush about it! When asked about Kennedy's recent comments alluding to The Calculus Affair, Spielberg responded:
"We haven't decided that yet. She's throwing a monkey wrench into your story! It could be that. I like The Calculus Affair. So it could be. We have completed a story outline now. We have a writer on it. I'm just not declaring what it is. It will be more than one book, but no more than two."

Dave Navarro is working on a new Jane's Addiction album which has everyone waiting with bated breath!! In the meantime as our beautiful red carpet host attempted to inform us a bit more on the matter Colette Carr had a more pressing question on her mind and in a Tourette syndrome type fashion blurted out "DO YOU HAVE CLEAN BALLS??" in which Dave Navarro replied "I do.. I always carry a pack of baby wipes at all times!!!"

The talented musician from Boston now based in Ireland is set to release his exciting debut album, a move which will thrill his army of fans across the world. Brian Hanlon is preparing to release his debut album later this month, marking a huge stage in the career of the multi-talented acoustic singer-songwriter. Brian, who lives in Cork, Ireland, has just put the final touches to the album, and is now preparing for the imminent release that will hopefully build upon his fan base and get his music heard by more people than ever. The album, ?Switched', consists of eleven original songs from Brian, each providing a combination his high-energy guitar playing, melodious vocals and heartfelt lyrics. The rhythmic undercurrent bears testament to bodhran (a traditional Irish drum) playing, and the music is punctuated throughout with elements of reggae, hip-hop, punk, jazz, pop and R&B. The album was recorded at Sonas Studios in Ireland, and its creation was supported by musicians who have been associated with Van Morrison, Steve Winwood and Brian Kennedy's band. It was produced by Brian and Tony O'Flaherty and was post produced by Dave Collins, the man behind Sting, Ben Harper, The Police, Janet Jackson and Sheryl Crow. With a CD collection that takes up an entire room, Brian refuses to restrict his influences to one genre. Instead, he has been influenced by numerous artists and genres of music from across the globe, including Sam Cook, Bob Marley, The Police, Ray Charles, John Coltrane and Stevie Wonder amongst many others. The debut EP 'Remember', released during September 2010 reaped much acclaim for the then 16 yr old Misty Miller and directly resulted in live sessions with Rob Da Bank on BBC R1, John Kennedy's Exposure show for XFM, Another Magazine and Italian Vogue. 'Remember' was chosen as the track to accompany men's fashion show - Burberry Prorsum for Spring/Summer 2011 with Misty, a face of 'Burberry Acoustic', as personally selected by brand creative director Christopher Bailey.
A fan of the classic artists such as Elvis and Billie Holliday, as well as those more contemporary i.e rockabilly Dan Sartain, Misty Miller takes influence from their varied styles which can be heard clearly throughout her debut self-titled album. As a young singer songwriter, she composes all her songs on an old-school instrument, the ukelele, and performs live with the confidence of a seasoned artist.
Growing up as the only girl in a large musical family and writing songs as a child, it became obvious that Misty was more than ready to go into the studio. At the age of 15 she recorded her first tracks for the 'Remember' EP and her upcoming debut album 'Misty Miller' produced by Jonathan Quarmby. The album is an 11-track journey taken through the eyes of a normal teenage girl living in South London with friends and family close by. Misty has previously performed at Bestival and shows for Swarovski , The Hitsheet and L'Oreal and packed out venues in London and Paris.

As a young singer songwriter, she composes all her songs on an old-school instrument, the ukelele, and performs live with the confidence of a seasoned artist.
Growing up as the only girl in a large musical family and writing songs as a child, it became obvious that Misty was more than ready to go into the studio. At the age of 15 she recorded her first tracks for the 'Remember' EP and her upcoming debut album 'Misty Miller' produced by Jonathan Quarmby. The album is an 11-track journey taken through the eyes of a normal teenage girl living in South London with friends and family close by. Misty has previously performed at Bestival and shows for Swarovski , The Hitsheet and L'Oreal and packed out venues in London and Paris.
