A lot went down in the music biz this week, including Gaga's kinda sorta reveal of her upcoming video, plans for a Michael Jackson tribute concert, and of course the devastating loss of Amy Winehouse. Let's recap. Beginning as usual with Lady Gaga, she pretty much revealed this week that her upcoming video that's remained a total secret is going to be You and I. She spoke with a New York radio station saying she's written the song about her best friend who happened to be from Nebraska, which is where she shot the vid. We've all pretty much come to the conclusion that she's talking about Luc Carl, and now we're just hoping she releases it! In other Gaga news, she did the LA circuit this week, appearing on AMP radio with Carson Daly, guest judging on SYTYCD, and performing on Jimmy Kimmel. Moving onto the King of Pop, the Jackson family announced this week that a tribute concert will be held for him this fall in Wales, and that the artists who have signed on will be announced in the coming weeks. Also making headlines were the VMA lineup-which at this point includes Selena Gomez, Lil Wayne, Adele, Chris Brown, Jason Derulo and OneRepublic. And finally, the tragic death of Amy Winehouse shocked the entire world last weekend. A private funeral was held this week, which both Kelly Osbourne and Mark Ronson attended. The cause of death is still unknown, and fans have flocked to her home in London to pay their respects all week. Those are your ClevverMusic trending topics for the week. Lady Gaga's performance at the VMAs as Jo Calderone is still a topic of conversation as many are trying to decide if they even liked it or not. But one person who wasn't really a fan of the cross dressing act was Kelly Osbourne, who claims Gaga was totally ripping off Annie Lennox. She tweeted, "i love lady gaga but i wish she would start giving credit where credit is due!" She also wrote "example... 1984 PEOPLE!" With the tweet, Kell included a link to Annie's Sweet Dreams performance that she did at the 1984 Grammys. As you may or may not know, Lennox has always been known to rock the androgynous look, and on that particular night, she donned a dude haircut with sideburns and a man's suit and tie. In the past few years, Miley has been known to throw some pretty cool celebrations for her birthdays, including closing down Disneyland for friends on her Sweet Sixteen, throwing a 80s rocker themed bash for the 1-7 and just last year, for her entry into adulthood at 18, the celeb partied at a club.
