Le quatrième épisode de la vrombissante saga Fast & Furious est actuellement en tournage, pour une sortie estivale. On savait déjà que Paul Walker et Vin Diesel vont y faire équipe pour infiltrer le cartel d'un baron de la drogue. Mais ce n'est pas tout, et voici que déboulent certaines révélations par rapport au scénario. Donc si vous êtes un fan et que vous ne voulez pas abîmer l'effet de surprise, il est préférable d'arrêter de lire ici?

Le film débutera par la mort du personnage incarné par Michelle Rodriguez. Vin Diesel se lance à la poursuite de son assassin et se trouve forcé de refaire équipe avec Paul Walker. Ils vont ainsi retrouver la piste du tueur. Le réalisateur de Tokyo Drift, Justin Lin, met en scène ce nouvel épisode et semble déjà partant pour un cinquième opus.

Now Fox has narrowed it down to eight, yes, eight directors. There's still a lot of competition. So, the top contenders are: Fast Five's Justin Lin, Bourne Identity's Doug Liman, Training Day's Antoine Fuqua, Pride & Glory's Gavin O'Connor, Girl, Interrupted's James Mangold, Jose Padilha, Mark Romanek, and commercials director Gary Shore. Justin Lin has just reveled that is it his wish to bring back Sarah Connor for the 5th installment of the terminator franchinse, and weve got the story! AS you guys know, Sarah died in T3, so we wonder how in the world Justin will pull this off, heres what he had to say, " "I mean, Sarah Connor is such a big part of the franchise, you know. Yeah, I mean I've always been surprised how in part 3 she was just like... It was like one line and she was gone... But I think the great thing about this franchise is... You can actually have different canons because you have the element of time travel. So, there's a way of kind of respecting all the works but also able to create a new time line." But crucially, the project is still at its very early stages. Lin has had productive meetings with Arnold Schwarzenegger and new rights-holder Megan Ellison, but there's not even a screenplay yet. "A lot of what we've discussed has been really good," says the director, "but it's necessary to really find the right group of people to execute it, so we'll see how it fleshes out. I have my own criteria set, and [if they don't pan out], I won't make it..."

Thanks to our friends at the LA times, weve just learned that Universal Pictures is considering shooting its sixth and seventh "Fast and Furious" movies back-to-back with a single story connecting the two films. Screenwriter Chris Morgan, who wrote the last three films, is busy working on story ideas while director Justin Lin, who also worked on the last three "Fast" movies, is expected to return behind the cameras for both films, according to insiders on the projects. Universal already has locked down a May 24, 2013, release for "Fast and the Furious 6," but the consecutive shooting schedule may result in a later launch, as Lin would be shooting the seventh film before he could edit the sixth. In exicting news for Fast fans, by making the two movies together, the seventh film could be in theaters sooner than the typical two-year gap between the supped up car movies! For those of you in shock that they are condiering a 7th installment, this franchise has killed it at the box office, not surprising any of us as to why they would want to keep going! Although things weren't always peachy for the franchise...The "Fast and Furious" franchise, which began in 2001, almost died with 2006's modest performer "Fast and the Furious 3" before revving back with 2009's fourth installment and this year's hit "Fast Five," which grossed $624 million worldwide...bringing the franchise back to life, bigger and better than ever! According to our pals at the Hollywood reporter, Vin Diesel, the star and a producer of Universal's decade-long franchise, said that during the planning process of the new movie, the Fast and Furious creative team, which includes director Justin Lin and screenwriter Chris Morgan, realized that they would need a seventh movie to tell their story. The sixth and seventh are being written simultaneously! , Diesal told THR that quote, "With the success of this last one, and the inclusion of so many characters, and the broadening of scope, when we were sitting down to figure out what would fit into the real estate of number six, we didn't have enough space." . So for those of you shaking your heads saying, why make another, you clearly have no clue how much this franchise rakes in....the franchise has brought in an incredible The franchise has made $1.58 billion dollars at the box office!!! . Deisal went on to explain the sequel sitch, he said, "We have to pay off this story, we have to service all of these character relationships, and when we started mapping all that out it just went beyond 110 pages ... You can't fit all that story in one damn movie!'" . UNFORT, Diesel did not reveal details on whether the two movies would be two-parters or two standalone movies so we will just have to wait and see! Following the smashing commercial and critical success of Fast Five, director Justin Lin has been developing Lone Wolf and Cub.

According to Deadline, while hes currently prepping the untitled sixth entry in the Fast & Furious franchise, Lin has also been in development with kamala fims on the Japanese Lone Wolf and Cub.

The highly acclaimed manga, tells the story of a Shogun's executioner who sets out to seek revenge with his three-year-old son in tow after he's disgraced by false accusations from the Yagyu clan.
