Control Music Video feat. New Dawn Fades by Joy Division
This fan-made video has been created by Yagprod.

The aim was to create a clip for Joy Division's song "New Dawn Fades" and to make a tribute to the memory of Ian Curtis.

I have chosen the movie "Control" not only because it shares the same band, but also because they tell the same story. Both the movie and the song are about the internal struggle of Ian Curtis, the singer of the band. You will see how much the lyrics fits to the movie.

Control is a movie made by Anton Corbijn.

THE SPIKES
BALCONYTV.COM 1/11/2007
PRESENTED BY TOM MILLETT
Since their polished summer '06 debut 'Monster', The Spikes have followed up with the critically acclaimed, 'In Love No More' and current release 'Ninja Girlfriend'.
Described by the Irish Times as 'energetic, stylish', The Spikes unleashed their quality sound on the Dublin music scene little over a year ago, the stage show that has been turning heads ever since is unmatched amongst their peers and has not gone unnoticed in industry circles.
From bizarre beginnings in New Zealand in 2004 The Spikes have successfully set about re-establishing the niche for the rock 'n' roll four-piece. The combination of Peter Redmond, Gareth Lewis and Aaron Mulhall bring a mesmerising pulse to the group while front man Tom Dunne delivers not only the outfit's drive but 'a vocal performance that puts one in mind of a stripped-down The Zutons, with more than a hint of Joy Division.' - Hotpress
'Monster' was a hugely positive debut for The Spikes, securing a placing in the Irish Singles Chart on its release and making a mark for independent Irish artists. 'In Love No More' saw The Spikes add to their rapidly growing fan base and maintain their reputation for 'a killer melody' and 'thrillingly sleazy...production' -- Metro. Ninja Girlfriend, a piece of live genius with an unSpikes like tempo, promises more and brings a further element of continental sauciness! If you haven't caught the show yet you need to witness one of the Spikes' forthcoming performances - as The Irish Times have noted, 'The Spikes...show the rest how it's done'!

FROM THE MORGAN HOTEL IN TEMPLE BAR
PRESENTED BY TOM MILLETT

Established in 2001, Ignition are a three piece indie rock band from Co. Armagh N.Ireland. Their much anticapated first demo entitled "Cos There Is F**k All Else", was released to critical acclaim in 2004. Their musical dexterity and self compositions have attracted record company attention and gained them a major following throughout the UK and Ireland, and with such attention to date, the media have been forced to sit up and listen. NME definitivley, one of the best music magazines out there, have featured Ignition as one of the best unsigned acts in the UK, and described their music as having "traces of Nirvana, Oasis with Eddie Veddars vocal range",also Vodaphone Live Mag, described their music as having "talent energy, and a sense of purpose". They have supported some major acts, including The View,Alabama 3, most famous perhaps for the Sopranos theme, "Woke Up This Morning".They have also supported and impressed Peter Hook, whos pumping bass lines with the post punk Joy Division, and following the death of Iain Curtis, the techno rock of New Order, has earned him legendary status. The band have already proved that there is an established fan base out there for their music, selling out venues wherever they play, and come highly recommended. As they continue to tour they are sure to dazzle a whole new breed of fans, who have not yet woken up to the Ignition phenomenon. Currently, the band, along with there manager, are in the process of negotiating deals with some major record labels in the UK, and are recording new material professionally, for future release.

THE LIVE LIGHTS

PRESENTED BY JON RAY

The Live Lights was formed in 2008 when Adam Khatib and Bryan Higginbotham, who had met years back, agreed to start up a new project. Victor Montemayor and Martin Rios joined shortly after, and instantly began their musical excursion performing in Houston.

Bonded over a shared ambition to rock the foundation of indie-rock music, The Live Lights
posses the unique ability to whip the stage up entirely befitting the beat-driven hearts and souls of indie-rock fans. Their dynamic songs are full of dramatic emotion and moving layers that can be felt from start to finish. The Live Lights are a four-way operation. Contributions by all members help to define the sound that is The Live Lights. "A blend of different music backgrounds woven together like your favorite blanket," says Rios.

Since inception, The Live Lights have built a strong and faithful following and have rattled audiences in the Houston and Texas region with their live performances and unique style. Playing shows with national and international acts including Peter Hook (New order/Joy Division), Datarock, Esser, Ruben Wu(Ladytron), Young the Giant and more, have helped The Live Lights reach out to a much broader fan base. Other achievements include performances @ Indieweek Fest 2010 in Canada, & Ghoulsfest 2010 with Macy Gray, We are Scientists, Bad Brains, and many more.

The band is influenced by artists from all genres including The Killers, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Radiohead, The Beatles, Ours, New Order, and many more.

The band's second CD was released in the spring of 2011 and is a compilation of songs with a modish blend of electronics, angular guitar work, a la mode drumming, and lucid vocals. A refreshing sign of growth and depth in the song writing is apparent as The Live Lights continue to fine tune their sound and direction. The new CD includes three new tracks produced by Matt Novesky of Blue October.
