Director Tony Gilroy talks to MTV about the bourne franchise, and I have the details.
The Bourne franchise is not only getting new faces both in front of and behind the camera, it is set to get a whole new look -- a more STABLE look if you will. Gilroy revealed to MTV that he wont be using the shaky cam that paul greengrass used in the past bourne series.
He said, "Everybody in the world ripped us off. [That style] been done to death at this point. [The style is] on TV three nights a week, much less Bond and everything else. The worst thing that could have been done would be to just slavishly follow some cookie-cutter pattern of visual style and storytelling style."
IN comparison to the past films, he went on to say, "it's a bigger movie in the terms of the journey of it and the scale of it and the amount of stories in it and where it's going... You thought you were seeing the world, and this movie is telling you that there's a much larger world, a much larger conspiracy beyond this."
He also dished that quote, "The events of the other three films are incredibly present, but they're not really in this very much. What happens in 'Ultimatum' is really the spark that's blowing open the door to this movie."

The Glee cast made their hot 100 debut back in 2009 with their rendition of Journey's "Dont Stop Believing" - fast-forward to late 2010, and the Glee Cast had even topped The Beatles record of 71 Hot 100 entires! Then...in 2011, they became the ultimate record-holder for most entries in Billboard's 54 year history, when they surpassed Elvis' record. What that means from here on out? Well, every song they place on the Hot 100 sets another record!
The latest tune? Glee's rendition of Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know" - which sold 170-thousand tracks in just two weeks. To date, the Glee cast has sold more than 40 million songs worldwide.
We're certain the Glee Cast will be moving past 200 soon, as next week's episode titled "Dance with Somebody" will pay tribute to Whitney Houston, with their rendition of hits like "How Will I Know", "I Wanna Dance With Somebody", "Saving All My Love for You" and more.

The big directing j.o.b. goes to Francis Lawrence. Lionsgate has decided that he will be directing Catching Fire and this is news for fans. Of course, people were generally sad when it was announced that Gary Ross from The Hunger Games would not be returning for the next project, but Francis Lawrence will likely bring a new energy and feel to this production. As you may know, the director is known for his film work on Water For Elephants and I Am Legend. In fact, the dystopian plot and the emotional action journey could be a really good fit for Lawrence. Just in case you're wondering, Francis has no relation to the attached star, Jennifer Lawrence -- but he does have a connection with stars like Britney Spears, JLO and more because he's done a ton of music video directing! Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will be screened in 3D at 48 frames per second during a Warner Bros. slate presentation Tuesday at CinemaCon and we have the details!
The Hobbit may be the most anticipated films previewed at the annual theater owners confab in Las Vegas, where for the first time in at least a decade, all of the major studios will present preview clips of their upcoming slate.
Millions of fans around the world are eagerly anticipating the prequel to Jackson's The Lord of the Rings trilogy, which grossed an estimated $2.9 billion worldwide...so why such abig deal? Well one, it's the hobbit, and 2, The Hobbit also will become the first major motion picture to be made at the high frame rate of 48 per second....as we previously reported, this is a pretty big deal, evolving from the standard 24 frames per second.
IN addition to the footage at cinema con, there is some speculation that a 48fps trailer might be released as early as July!
