As a guitarist and performer on the East London rock circuit, the band quickly became established as well known musicians in their hometown of Romford & Upminster in Essex.
It was moving to Kent for University after the split of 'Ostara' that Lucy's love for acoustic and folk took hold. Lucy naturally began taking inspiration from the likes of Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Sandy Denny and music from her parents influential collection of 70's sounds. Beginning as a solo performer in her first year of university, Lucy soon became a rising star on the Canterbury music scene and has been a respected local talent ever since. Recognition for her songwriting saw her reach the semi finals of the BBC Radio 2 young folk award in 2007.
Beyond the UK, Lucy has fans across Europe and USA; having performed in Sweden and Switzerland, and organised her own mini-tour of North California, Lucy continues to spread her music far and wide. With radio air play in Australia as well as back home, and famous fans from the likes of anti-folk hero Billy Bragg, exposure of Lucy's music is fast catching up her exceptional talent.

The Light Parade are the musical partnership of Alex Howard and Kara DuBose. After meeting at college in Abilene, Texas they began singing and writing together in their senior year and the chemistry between them was instant. Taylor Swift may be starring in a new movie, but there's no confirmation as of today. The artist wants to take on the role of country singer, Joni Mitchell for the project. Variety reports about the role request, saying that Sony is already set to produce a film adaptation of the Girls Like Us book that follows the careers of 3 popular female musicians from the 1970s. Taylor Swift wants to be Joni Mitchell but the movie will also have roles for Carole King and Carly Simon. We could actually imagine this from a looks standpoint and of course, from a musical standpoint. What do you Taylor fans think of the star taking on a starring role in a movie? Are you a fan or do you want her to stick to her amazing music career?
