Sylvester Stallone talks the return of Rambo to the big screen! Listen up. ClevverMovies has the deets.
MTV reports that Stallone was approached about the subject at CinemaCon and he did not hold back. Stallone is anxious to bring John Rambo's story to a close in the most exciting way possible. For all the fans worrying he retires into oblivion in Omaha, have no fear. Stallone is adamant Rambo gets the heroic finale he deserves.
Does that mean we'll see an epic standoff with a Mexican drug cartel? Don't write it off just yet. Stallone says:
"I like the whole Mexican situation, what's going on down there. So I'm working on a
formula for it right now."
Regardless of the situation, you can be sure he will live up to his reputation. Stallone says Rambo deserves quote, "to go out in a blaze of glory in a heroic fashion. But is he really doing it for himself or is he doing it because that's just his id? That's who he is."
Stallone is also working on other projects so we will most likely see Rambo 5 in 2015 or 2016. The cast will also include Julie Benz and Mickey Rourke.
