Demi Lovato & John Mayer Romance? Is It True? Mayer like La La Land Hi I'm Joslyn Davis for ClevverTV with the latest 411 on Hollywood's latest romance rumor. First it was MySpace, then it was Facebook, now it seems that even celebs are using Twitter as a meeting ground for love. John Mayer has been a longtime fan of Twitter and now that his relationship with Jennifer Anniston has come to an end, the town is abuzz over who John will date next. This brings us to the latest Twittermance---in a strange twist of events Mayer is now being linked to none other than Clevver favorite Demi Lovato! We hear that Lovato reached out to Mayer on Twitter just to say hello. Since then, the two have been going back and forth via the micro-blog. Mayer wrote that Lovato's song "LaLa Land" is very sophisticated. And he added that he can tell she's going to make lots more records and that she should take it one song at a time and never apologize for the music she makes. Lovato then replied back to Mayer saying "Holy Crap! That is quite possibly the best compliment I've received in this business..." Needless to say, Lovato was floored by Mayer's comments and rightfully so! After all, she's been a longtime fan of Mayer and earlier this year in an interview with MTV, Lovato was quoted as saying she'd like to do more John Mayer-ish type stuff on her next album. That new album- by the way- is expected for a summer 2009 release. So what do you guys think? Is this a bonafied Twittermance, or just a friendship budding in cyberspace? As you know, the event was created to celebrate the launch of the New iHeartRadio, Clear Channel's digital radio product. How's it going, I'm Bridget Daly for CLevverMusic in Hollywood. As you know Tony Bennett and lady Gaga recently worked together, singing a track for his upcoming album Duets 2. Well Gaga must have charmed the pants off him, because Bennett has given her a huge compliment! Speaking with Billboard, Tony said, "I never met a more talented person in my life. I think she's going to become as big as Elvis Presley." Now keep in mind, Tony Bennett has been around for a couple years, and has worked with countless musicians and artists. So to say Gaga is the most talented person he's ever met?well that's saying something! He had nice words to say about everyone who will appear on the Duets album, including Mariah Carey, John Mayer and the late Amy Winehouse. He said, "I can't tell you how professional every one of them was, and how they worked and memorized and knew what they were going to do. And it shows up on the record, you know? You can hear them performing very well for us." We can't wait to hear it! Especially the Tony-Gaga collab of Lady is a Tramp! It drops on September 20th, which is less than a month away! It wasn't all that surprising that all-around good guy Nick Jonas is the number one guy that parents would want their teenage daughter to partner up with. A little bit surprising is the fact that Justin Bieber came in at number two. As far as the female crowd is concerned, Dakota Fanning is the number one valentine parents would want their sons to date -- she beat out Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Miranda Cosgrove and Victoria Justice, who also made the list. Getting the top spot for favorite singer to give you that Valentine serenade you're dying for is Taylor Swift. Other crooners in that category include Michael Buble, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and John Mayer. But here's something that was actually sort of shocking -- there was actually a nightmare date category and Justin Bieber nabbed the top spot, which doesn't really make sense, considering he came in at the top of another category.
