'The Grey' Movie Review
Check out The Grey trailer here! http://youtu.be/VRWF4cepn8U http://bit.ly/clevvermovies - Click to Subscribe! http://Facebook.com/ClevverMovies - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverMovies - Follow Us! Ladies and Gentlemen, Liam Neeson is back and he is still kicking ass. Hey Movie guys and gals, Joshua Evan Ovenshire here for Clevver Movies and I was lucky enough to get a chance to check out the upcoming Thriller, The Grey. Directed by Joe Carnahan and Starring Liam Neeson, it was a non stop edge of your seat thriller. In the film, a flight carrying an oil drilling team crash lands in the snowy wilderness. Now, not only do the survivors have to beat the climate, but they're also being hunted a pack of wolves. Yep, bad day. Now I do admit, I don't normally run out to a theatre to see a Thriller, but this movie made me rethink my movie going habits for the better. From the beginning of this movie to the last moments before the credits rolled, it's an emotional rollercoaster that keeps you wondering what happens next. A movie like this relies a lot of its pacing, and director Joe Carnahan nailed it perfectly. Every time those wolves showed up on screen, every second you're wondering if the team is going to make it through it. To make this movie the actors were actually thrown into the environment. So the snow you see is real, the cold you see is real, the exhaustion you see is real. And this brings a whole new element to the movie that makes it even hard for YOU to breathe. Then there's Liam Neeson. This man is amazing. In his career, he's taken on Nazis, sith, and even Batman, and now he gets to go head to head against nature. He adds a presence of bad ass to the movie that reminds you that Liam Neeson kicks ass. And it's not just him. The rest of the cast does a great job, and you feel for each one of them. This movie really was an experience. Again, I don't normally go out to see thrillers, and honestly, if it hadn't been for this job I may have missed it. But now I'm here to help you guys not make the same mistake I almost did. It was refreshing to see a movie that wasn't based on a comic book or a rebooted series. Refreshing to see a movie that you DIDN'T know what was going to happen next. This flick comes out on January 27th, so mark your calendars and make your way down to the theaters. Trust me. Be sure to comment below what you think of the movie and don't forget to subscribe to stay up to date on all the movie news! You can also hit us up on twitter @clevvermovies and I'll be sure to get back to each one of you. Till the next time, I'm Joshua Evan Ovenshire and you're watching Clevver Movies!

The Grey comes out this Friday, and it's looking good. In fact, it's looking Oscar good. . Directed by Joe Carnahan and starring Liam Neeson, The Grey launches Nationwide this Friday. We here, at Clevver Movies had a chance to check the movie out, and it was nothing short of thrilling and a must watch. But don't just take our word ofr it, apperenlty, there had been some strong Oscar buzz around this movie and Liam Neeson's performance in it. Enough for Carnahan to try to get the movie out before the end of the year cut off point. . But getting nominated isn't as easy as simple as you'd think. It's almost like running for an elected position. It takes a good deal of time, and time wasn't one of the things Neeson had. He was too busy filming the sequel to 2009's hit Taken. Yes, for all you fans of Taken, there is going to be a sequel just in case you didn't know. But that's another news story all together... . So with trying to complete The Grey on time and Liam Neeson's schedule, going for a 2012 Oscar push just wasn't looking like it was going to happen. But it is looking to be in the running for a possible 2013 Oscar nomination. The Grey's production company, Open Roads, has flat out said they are going to do an October re-release to get this movie into the Oscars. And honestly, I really think it deserves it This was a edge of your seat nail biter, with so many moving performances. . And now I turn to you, our loyal viewers, does all this Oscar buzz get you even more excited to check out The Grey?
