I'm Joslyn Davis for ClevverTV and that's story's up next! Hey guys- Welcome back to ClevverTV. So, just when you thought Jojo had disappeared off the music radar...POOF! There she is! Back again and ready to re-kickstart her career. You all probably remember her for her huge hit songs like Too Little Too Late. Well, most recently she surprised us all (in a good way of course) when she appeared on Timbaland's new album, Shock Value II. She is also currently putting the last touches on her next album which will be called "All I Want is Everything." Now, this album and her collabo come as a bit of a surprise only because rumor had it that Jojo was going to step away from the music biz and go to college instead, and try to get back into her singer career when she was finished with her studies. But the singer ultimately changed her mind and with that we'll be getting some new music very soon. The 19 year old wants to show people that she's come a long way from her previous work and really get a sense of who she is. And I'm happy to announce that we'll all hopefully be getting a listen sometime this year! That was your quick music update on Jojo. Im Dana Ward and were reviewing the star-studded Fan Jam on VH1. First off, the televised event, as co-hosted with Pepsi and the NFL, had the purpose to celebrate football as a sport as well as this years Super Bowl??. The night was hosted by Nancy ODell and Nick Cannon and featured a bunch of performances. Timbaland set his own beat and rocked the large-scale stage with JoJo and Keri Hilson, plus there was a video intermix featuring Justin Timberlake. Justin Bieber performed his newest track Baby while Rihanna sampled a few of her songs including Live Your Life, all while wearing a fearless, funky fashion. Basically, the Fan Jam was meant for the football fans who eagerly await half-time during the big game. Of course, there was a bit of giving back for this VH1 live event. Her name is Cymphonique and she's already been busy establishing herself as a recording artist, but soon enough she'll be starring in a brand show called "How to Rock Braces and Glasses." She'll play Kacey, a popular girl whose status goes downhill quickly when she has to start wearing glasses and also gets braces at the same time. OF course there's gonna be some mean girl action, but we hear that she'll rise above by showing off her musical talents. The show is actually based on a book by the same name, and will be the perfect way for the young lady to show off her talent. Also, we've got to add that Cymphonique has talent in her genes -- her dad is hip hop star Master P. Plus, she's already toured with the likes of the Tiz, Demi Lovato and Jojo. While promoting for her upcoming new album -- which still doesn't debut until October 2011 -- she actually dished some fan advice to Celebuzz. She said this: 'Listen to those who are wise, and respectfully tune out those who are not. Work hard. Celebrate your accomplishments, but don't get too excited with yourself. There's always more to do. Don't compare yourself to others. Instead, aim to be your personal best. And when in doubt, be nice.' Hats off to you, JoJo -- it's always a good thing to just be nice. Keep in mind that the musician also listed her mom's strict parenting and focus on 'education first' as definitely helping keep her on track. So there ya go, some advice straight from JoJo.
