Hey guys, tatiana carrier here for clevver movies and I ve got the latest on THE HOST. The fifth and final Twilight film may be scheduled to release next November, but Stephenie Meyer isn't retiring any time soon! Her best-selling 2008 science-fiction novel The Host ? her only non-Twilight work to date ? is in the process of being turned into a film! The release is already set for March 29 of 2013 so you can be sure that we will be having lots of HOST news coming at you until then. The first little tidbit of news comes from the casting couch! According to Entertainment Weekly, the role of Jared Howe will be played by 26-year-old actor Max Irons. For those of you not familiar with that name just yet, Max is the son of Oscar-winning actor Jeremy Irons, who was last seen in this year's Red Riding Hood. Other casting couch news: We also have learned that Saoirse Ronan is starring and Jake Abel is in talks to play Ian, but nothing confirmed yet As of now, not too many details have been revealed, besides the news of Max, and the film will begin shooting in February in Louisiana...so as we get more info we will be sure to keep you guys posted!
