Hey comic book turned movie fans, I'm Tatiana Carrier and I've news on the latest comic book character headed to the big screen. Deadline has reported that Sony Pictures has snapped up the rights to Valiant Comics series Bloodshot with hopes to turn it into the next big comic book franchise.

For those unfamiliar with the series, Bloodshot tells the story of Angelo Mortalli, a former mob hitman who is turned into a modern Day Frankenstein and the ultimate killing machine when he is subjected to an experimental program which infuses his blood with microscopic computers called nanites. The procedure erases his memories, but he is able to escape his captors and sets out to find out who he is and seeks revenge on the people who created him.

The film will be produced by Fast Five producer Neal Moritz from a spec script from writer Jeff Wadlow. X-Men: First Class director Matthew Vaughn has been rumored to be attached to direct the film, but with an X-Men sequel in the works, we think this probably won't happen.

Liam Neeson in talks to star in NONSTOP...the details, coming your way!

Accoprding to The Hollywood reporter, Liam Neeson is in negotiations to star in Non-Stop, an airline thriller. Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the project is described by "insiders" as a gritty action thriller centering on an air marshal (played by Neeson) on a domestic flight.

It was previously reported that Jeff Wadlow was attached to direct, a helmer who has the instant message horror film "Cry_Wolf" ...but still no confirmation on that one.

As we get more details on NON STOP we will be sure to keep you posted!

Neeson can currently be seen reprising his role as Zeus in Wrath of the Titans and will be seen this summer in Battleship and The Dark Knight Rises.

Hit-Girl To Play Major Role In 'Kick-Ass 2' and we have the details!

According to comicbookmovie.com, Hit-Girl will be playing a significantly bigger role in kickass 2 than she did in the original film, the question that remains is if Chloe Moretz will return to reprise the role!

At a panel for the Kapow! Comic Convention in London, Jeff Wadlow, the writer and director of Kick-Ass 2 spoke about the highly anticipated adaptation and about bring chloe moretz back on the big screen! He has been pretty hush hush about the project, so the info was pretty exciting for the panel attendees! He said, " I can tell you that I'm here in London because we're making the movie. They brought me over about a week ago and I'm going to be here for about a year. Our first day of photography is in September. I'm just very happy to be here and I'm very lucky to be working with Matthew Vaughn, whose just an incredible producer... It's moving forward and it's happening."

With the original film taking some liberties with the first comic book, Wadlow revealed that adapting the sequel was challenging finding a balance between what happened in the first film and how the comic book sequel plays out. If you haven't read the comic book, be warned that the next bit will be a major spoiler. One major difference between the comic book and the film will be what happens to Hit-Girl after she quits the superhero business. The comic book doesn't delve into what happens during this period in her life and Wadlow felt including this will help give the film the emotional element it needs.

So with so much of the film focusing on Hit-Girl, does that mean Chloe is a sure bet to return? Nothing is official, but Wadlow did reveal that he recently met with the young star and that she's excited about the direction they are taking with Hit-Girl.
