Le nuove avventure di Harry Potter, il maghetto della saga nata dalle penna di J.K. Rowling, che vanta oltre 400 milioni di copie vendute, in esclusiva su Internet. www.pottermore.com. Il sito presentato a Londra dalla scrittrice, permette di acquistare gli e-book della saga e include un social network dedicato ai fan. "Ho ricevuto migliaia di disegni e di lettere e questo sito è uno strumento fantastico per alimentare questa creatività", ha detto la Rowling, che ha vinto le resistenze nei confronti degli e-book. I fan potranno iscriversi scegliendo un nome da stregone: dovranno rispondere a una serie di domande per essere ammessi a una delle "case" dove si trovano gli allievi della scuola di stregoneria e Harry Potter e i suoi amici sono stati iniziati alla magia. Solo allora potranno navigare e giocare, leggere i romanzi e scoprire i nuovi capitoli, scritti per questo progetto. Il sito sarà online il 31 luglio, compleanno di Harry Potter, ma il lancio mondiale, in partnership con la Sony, è previsto a ottobre.

La pioggia non ha scoraggiato i fan giunti a Londra per l'anteprima mondiale di "Harry Potter e i doni della morte - parte seconda", l'ultimo film della saga del maghetto di Hogwarts, inventato dalla scrittrice J.K. Rowling. In migliaia hanno preso d'assalto Trafalgar Square in attesa della proiezione e qualcuno addirittura ha bivaccato qui per un paio di giorni nella speranza di strappare un autografo a Daniel Radcliffe e compagni. "Vogliamo solo vedere le star - dice questa ragazzina - non potevamo aspettare l'uscita del film e così siamo venute qui vestite in tema per gustarci i personaggi e l'atmosfera"."Io adoro Harry Potter - afferma quast'altra fan - perché assieme a lui ho trascorso tutta la mia infanzia, leggendo i suoi libri e guardando i suoi film, per cui questo per me è il giorno più eccitante in assoluto". "Harry Potter e i doni della Morte - parte seconda" sarà proiettato nelle sale di Leicester Square e i protagonisti raggiungeranno il cinema attraversando una strada trasformata nella mitica Diagon Alley. In Italia il film uscirà il 13 luglio, con un'anteprima straordinaria, il giorno prima, al Giffoni Experience.

Rowling, the genius behind the world of Harry Potter, is launching a new site called "Pottermore." And as the name implies, yes, this will be an online location to get more Potter, as in Harry Potter. Rowling is keeping fans guessing as far as what exactly this "more" will include. However, we do know what it will NOT be -- and that's a new book. However, it could be any number of things, maybe some sort of virtual online Harry Potter world, or in-depth website? After tons of speculation about what exactly J.K. Rowling's new website Pottermore would entail, the details have finally been released. In a new video clip, Rowling explains that Pottermore.com will be an interactive destination where fans can create a completely fresh Harry Potter reading experience. The world-famous author notes that Pottermore will be a place where readers can rediscover the story they were introduced to 13 years ago. The site will also be the exclusive online store for audio books, and for the first time ever, the e-books for the Harry Potter series will also be available for purchase. Pottermore visitors will be able to build their own experience, and Rowling will be sharing additional information she's been holding in for years about the world of Harry Potter. Pottermore.com will be officially open on October 31st, but a few lucky fans will gain early entrance. According to Rowling, all they have to do is follow the owl. We still have to wait until October before we dive into the online world of Pottermore, but thanks to J.K. Rowling, a select few can gain early access to the world of Harry Potter. Some of you may have already secured your spot for early admittance, but for the rest of us, there's still time. The message on Pottermore reads "7 books, 7days, 7chances." That seven --day window began on July 31st and will continue through August 6th. During this time, fans must find The Magical Quill. Each day a clue is revealed on the Pottermore homepage that will lead you to another online dimension of Pottermore. The Pottermore Insider breaks it down for us with this example: Let's just say the clue is "How many books are there in the Harry Potter series? Multiply this number by 10." From there, you would add the answer- in this case, 70 -- to the end of the web address. So you would then go to www.pottermore.com/70, which is where The Magical Quill is located. But don't take too long, because once you find the quill, you have to register -- and registration is only open until a few spaces are filled each day. If no spots are left, better luck tomorrow. Here's another tricky part -- Pottermore isn't revealing when the clues go live, so you'll have to keep a close eye on the site. Each day's clue will relate to each book in the series, starting with the first book in the series on Day 1 and so on, ending with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on Day 7. For the lucky few who register, that means The Magical Quill has written your name down in a large book and you'll be invited at a later date to access Pottermore after The Magical Quill challenge is over. I libri narrano le vicende del mago Harry Potter e dei suoi amici, Ronald Weasley ed Hermione Granger. Le avventure si svologno principalmente nella Scuola di Hogwarts, scuola di magia e stregoneria in cui i giovani frequentanti vengono educati alle arti magiche. Ogni libro di Harry Potter copre un arco narrativo di un anno, iniziando proprio dall'adolescenza di Harry, un ragazzo che, rimasto orfano, vive con gli zii adottivi Vernon e Petunia Dursley. All'età di 11 anni, il ragazzo si accorge di essere un mago e inizia cosi a frequentare la scuola di Hogwarts per poi scontrarsi con l'acerrimo e malvagio nemico Lord Voldemort, autore dell'assassinio dei suoi genitori. Fenomeno letteraio notevole nel 1997, data di uscita del primo volume, Harry Potter ha continuato a mietere successi anche nelle sue ulteriori uscite, il 1998 in particolare fu l'anno della consacrazione a caratura mondiale con l'uscita in Italia del volume Harry Potter e la pietra filosofale. Nel 2001 inizia, con la regia di Chris Columbus, anche la saga cinematografica che vede come protagonista un giovanissimo Daniel Radcliffe. Harry Potter 8 Dvd e Blu-Ray: i contenuti speciali del formato home video

Londra, (TMNews) - Passeggiare nella sala comune del castello di Hogwarts, affacciarsi in una delle stanze degli studenti della scuola di magia, camminare per Diagon Alley sbirciando nelle vetrine del negozio di bacchette di Ollivanders. Gli studi della Warner Bors a Watford, Londra stanno per aprire al pubblico con tutto il loro carico di magia per gli appassionati di Harry Potter: chiunque potrà guardare da vicino i set originali della saga cinematografica, gli oggetti di scena, i costumi."Noi pensiamo che questa sia un'esperienza unica - dice Sarah Roots la vicepresidente di Warner Bros Inghilterra - con i set e i costumi autentici che non sono mai stati visti prima dal pubblico; per la prima volta sveliamo i segreti del film, come è stato fatto, quali effetti speciali abbiamo usato".Fra ambienti in scala reale, modellini, collezioni di scope volanti e bacchette e materiale video la visita dura circa tre ore. Gli studios possono accogliere 5mila persone al giorno un numero enorme che non riesce però a contenere l'entusiasmo dei fan della saga tratta dai libri di J.K. Rowling: tutti i weekend fino al prossimo giugno sono già prenotati.
