Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 3 - Gamebit Show #08 (vidéotest)
On reste en guerre (voir le Gamebit Show de Battlefield 3) mais sur un sol différent, celui de Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 3. Série ayant déjà fait ses preuves par le passé, ce Modern Warfare 3 développé cette fois-ci non pas par Infinity Ward mais par Sledgehammer Games (explications inside) fait dans la surenchère comme ses aînés avec des améliorations notables particulièrement dans les modes multijoueur. En l'espace d'une vingtaine de minutes, nous revenons sur son mode solo, le remaniement de son mode "Spec Ops" sans oublier bien sur son multijoueur. L'occasion pour nous de comparer le mastodonte d'Activision à celui d'Electronic Arts en passant en revue ses forces et faiblesses...
Sans oublier le traditionnel concours en fin de test qui vous permet comme à l'accoutumée de gagner un jeu vidéo, il s'agit en l'occurrence d'un titre que nous avons testé ces dernières semaines. Enjoy!

'The Avengers' Plot Rumors POTENTIAL SPOILERS

Can't wait till next May to know what's going on in the new Avenger's movie? Well we've got all the details. . Hey movie buffs, Joshua Ovenshire here with some HUGE details about the Avengers set to release next May. Let me repeat that...HUGE details, so if you want to stay surprised, here's your chance to head to our channel and watch a DIFFERENT video. . First off to bat, we will be seeing the return of Hugo Weaving reprising his role as Red Skull. Just in case, you missed it, Red Skull was the antagonist for last summer's Captain America: The First Avenger. Apparently, Loki finds him during his "travels" and partners up with this veteran evil do-er. . Next up, do you remember the alien spacecraft blowing everything up from the trailer? Well, those are none other than the Skrulls. Oh wait, we can't say Skrulls because Sony still has the rights to that name. So Marvel had to change their appearance and the name to avoid getting sued. Yes, that's right. Due to big business, Marvel can't use their own creation in their own movie. So now they are called The Redacted. . Marvel fans will also recognize the name Thanos showing up, and he plays a huge role. In fact, he gets tricked by loki in an unfair trade getting the infinity gauntlet as Loki takes the now named Redacted. Oh yeah, he also hands over the gigantic space Serpent, The Leviathan. But wait it get's better. . Once the Redacted realize that Loki has betrayed their master by making him think that the infinity gauntlet is more powerful than originally stated, they turn on Loki. Forcing him to join sides with the Avengers. I KNOW RIGHT?!?!? Then again, Thanos should have seen it coming. Loki IS the god of mischief, can't really trust the guy. . Now with all of this now on the table, it makes me wonder if this movie may be a little TOO over the top. It's not like Batman, which is good for the fact that it's based in our realm of reality. It could actually happen. Avenger's has gods, aliens, and cosmic weapons. Will today's audience find it to be a bit much? And let's not forget the cameo by Marvel's newest hero..ANT MAN! I wouldn't be surprised if he shows up at the end of the credits, just like Marvel is famous for doing. . So what do you guys think of the story so far? Looks like Charice is getting back out on the road. The singer has just announced she's heading back to Asia for performances in Singapore and Hong Kong to promote her international album 'Infinity.' She'll perform in Singapore on March 5, followed on March 19 by a show in Hong Kong. Tickets for both concerts go on sale today (Jan. 5) and can be purchased on Charice's official website. As you might recall, Charice canceled her concert in Singapore back in November after the death of her father, and at the time promised to return soon. The Avengers Rumors Squashed

Looks like the producer of The Avengers is squashing rumors left and right! . Hey guys, Tatiana Carrier here with Clevver Movies, and the cover of Empire Magazine is looking pretty heroic. This month's Empire Magazine will have 5 different covers featuring either, Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, OR one cover featuring all four heroes. On top of that inside there'll even be some new stills from the movie releasing this May. So be sure to scheck that out. . But now for the good stuff! Kevin Feige, producer of The Avengers, started eliminating some rumors in his interview in the issue. First up, The Skrulls. He does clear up who the Avengers will, or will not, be facing off against...well, kind of. He starts off with his response simply, "Who says they are aliens?" Feige, has said before that the Skrulls are not in this movie. They aren't aiming to set up the Kree Skrull war or anything like that. In fact, He goes on to say that the enemies are in fact from the comics, but by no means impactful to the main story. . And now we turn our attention to Red Skull being in this film. Looking back to the ending of Captain America from last year, was he vaporized or was he merely transported to another time or dimension? Well, he doesn't give us the answer to that question particularly, but he does clear up that Red Skull will NOT be in The Avengers. There you have it. No Red Skull in this movie, but Feige didn't say anything about no Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos, or the water dragon, the Leviathan. . What do you think about all of this? Hey Guys! I'm back today with more news on Call of Duty Black Ops 2. First things first. As of this morning, Amazon UK announced -day 1 preorder figures came in 3 times higher than Black Ops did in 2010. Pretty Impressive.
Now, what details do you need to know? There's a few key components I'm gonna fill you in on to make you an expert and let you know why Black Ops 2 is so awesome.
First, It's set in the future & the past. The game's campaign is split in two. Part of the adventure will pick up immediately after the events of the original Black Ops, with players following the journey of Frank Woods. The other half, begins in the year 2025, with tons of advanced weapons ruling the world.
Second- It's occasionally a real-time strategy game. The company is currently working on a new game mode for Black Ops II called Strikeforce, which basically adds a more hands-off, sandbox experience for players to run-and-gun on their own terms.
Third- Treyarch has a villain they want you to actually care about. We don't have too many details just yet about the antagonist's identity, but we do know Treyarch is establishing the villain as a young man, showing his descent into evil, and revealing the full extent of that trajectory in 2025.
And, last on my list but certainly not least- Black Ops 2 is more influenced by e-sports than you think. With last year's Modern Warfare 3, Infinity Ward decided forgo LAN support. Which means pro-gaming circuits like MLG couldn't host the game. But, you'll be happy to know that Treyarch's approach to e-sports couldn't be more different. Black Ops II multiplayer lead designer David Vonderhaar says that quote "tailoring their game to resonate with the e-sports community is a huge goal for Treyarch." So, here's my question to you- How much do you want to see Black Ops 2 on the pro-gaming circuit? Cause it sounds like it just might happen.

'The Avengers' End Credits Scene Explained

Did the end credit scene of The Avengers cause you to turn to the person next to you and ask, "Who's that?" Don't worry, we've got you covered. Now it probably goes without saying, but from here on out, this will be a spoiler heavy zone. You've been warned!

Anyone who has seen a Marvel movie since 2008's Iron Man and stayed through the credits, knows that a set-up to the next film is usually teased. Some of these teases included the first appearance of Nick Fury in Iron Man, the reveal of Thor's hammer in Iron Man 2 and the plot of The Avengers with Loki's interest in the tesseract was set-up at the end of Thor.

If you actually stayed through the credits of The Avengers you most likely saw a scene that takes place in deep space. Loki's partner in crime known as "The Other" - he was the shrouded figure that supplied Loki with the army of Chitauri to take over Earth - is talking to an as yet unrevealed character about the might of the Avengers proving that Earth could be a real threat and to launch another attack "would be to court death". Then, a purple faced creature turns to the camera and smirks. This person is Thanos, and most likely will be the villain that The Avengers will have to face in the sequel.

For those of you unfamiliar, Thanos first appeared in an issue of Iron Man back in the early 1970's, but is probably most well known from "The Infinity Gauntlet" limited series from 1991. Thanos is an alien that is obsessed with death, both literally and figuratively. He uses the power of the Infinity Gauntlet, known as the most powerful weapon in the galaxy, to destroy half of all life in the universe, with several of Earth's mightiest superheroes killed in the process, though most of the storylines have the dead coming back to life using the Infinity Gauntlet to undo Thanos' destruction. Needless to say, expect to see some Avengers meeting their demise when they go up against this Titan.

Now, there is no guarantee that Thanos will in fact be the villain in The Avengers sequel. It is possible that this end credit scene could in fact be a setup for another Marvel film. We know that Iron Man 3 will feature what is being called "real world threats", so an alien villain is highly unlikely. We also know Captain America 2 will focus on Steve Rogers learning to fit into a modern world, so a Thanos appearance in that film is highly unlikely as well. If Thanos isn't a setup for The Avengers 2 but another Marvel film, the most likely culprit would be Thor 2. Thor is already closer to that world and the Infinity Gauntlet already made an appearance in the original Thor, so a battle between Thor and Thanos wouldn't be out of the question. We do think we won't see him until The Avengers 2 though.
