Weve just learned that ghost rider : spirit of vengeance has launched the Face of the Fan Contest. According to movie web, aspiring artists and Ghost Rider fans can create a movie poster that shows off their creativity and design skills in the Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance Face of the Fan® Contest. In the contest, the studio is looking for fan art that captures the excitement of the legendary character. To get started, all fans need to do is visit the link in our description or head to facebook.com/faceofthefan in order to download the digital assets they need to help creat their original posters! Each fan may submit up to three finished pieces that then express the tone of Ghost Rider and the anticipation for the film, which will be released in 3D in theaters on February 17, 2012. One Grand Prize winner will receive a trip for two to the premiere of the film and the potential to have the winning poster featured in select movie theaters during the marketing campaign of the movie. Up to 10 Finalists each receive a $300 SonyStyle gift card. Entries are now being accepted and will continue until November 21st, so get started today if your interested! For all you promethus fans, there is a Live Q&A and Trailer Premiere with Director Ridley Scott Saturday, March 17 at 4 p.m....Ridley Scott, director of Alien and Blade Runner, will be live at AMC Downtown Disney 12 in California to answer fan questions and reveal the latest trailer from his highly anticipated sci-fi thriller Prometheus.

The event will be hosted by Damon Lindelof, executive producer and co-writer of Prometheus, also known for writing and producing the popular sci-fi show Lost. fans can submit questions to Ridley Scott via the hashtag #amcprometheus or the AMC Theaters Facebook page!

Also we got a glimpse at a new image from the highly anticpated flick! The high-resolution image shows the star map room glimpsed in the teaser trailer. It doesn't really offer up any clues about the film's plot but the image is kinda cool/pretty...I likey!
