What's up little monsters, you're watching ClevverMusic, and I'm your host Bridget Daly. Well we weren't sure it would happen, but Gaga showed up to Stern's radio show this morning in New York. And this even after he's made fun of her fans on air before, and also mentioned that she does interviews with everyone but him. But she proved him wrong?and his producer, who bet him 500 bucks she wouldn't show up. Not only did Gaga open up about personal issues during the interview, but she even gave a chilling performance of Edge of Glory in the studio too. Howard told her it was one of the best live performances anyone had ever done on his show, and you could tell he was sort of at a loss for words. He also proposed to her afterwards! Prior to performing Gaga said the meaning of the song is about knowing in your heart you may never reach that glorious moment until you die, so live life on the edge, halfway between heaven and hell, and let's all dance in the middle in purgatory. Gaga also touched upon what's really going on with her on again off again boyfriend Luc Carl, and all she mentioned was that she got laid the night prior, and that he was her best friend since she was 19. But then right afterwards, Gaga preached abstinence, saying, "I really think that kids have sex way too young. I've got a lot of young fans and I love you and I respect your show and I know you want to talk about sex and cocaine -- but honestly you should wait as long as you possibly can to have sex." As for her previous drug use, she said, "I regret every line I ever did," So to all of the little sweethearts who are listening -- don't ever touch it. It's the devil." Well, the VMAs are almost upon us! With just a few days til the big show, we're all left wondering what all the celebs are going to show up wearing...especially Lady Gaga! In honor of the wacky fashions the VMA always brings out each year, we're breaking down our top 5 craziest VMA fashions ever! Coming in at #5 is Macy Gray. In 2001, she was the epitome of shameless self-promotion, wearing a long blue dress that read: My New Album drops September 18th, 2001, with the back reading, Buy it! We're accustomed to rappers doing this kind of thing, but we hope whomever suggested Macy do this was fired the next day. The album majorly underperformed on the charts too?much like that fashion faux pas. Our #4 pick is Howard Stern, who dressed as Fartman during the 1992 show, a character he started using back in the 80s. He didn't make many friends with this alter-ego, famously interrupting Metallica during their acceptance speech. So technically, Howard is the original Kanye! Britney Spears gets our #3 pick. She definitely looked her best ever in 2001 when she took the stage wearing little else but a python during her Slave 4 U performance. And she just gets props for shaking around a stage with such a frightening co-star around her neck. The #2 pick goes to Lil Kim. In 1999, she showed up wearing a one-shoulder purple jumpsuit, exposing her left boob that was just covered by a pasty. It was definitely shocking for the times, and would have thought that 12 years later, jumpers would be all the rage on the runways! And our number 1 spot goes to.....you guessed it, Lady Gaga! Her meat dress at last year's show has proven to be the wildest most outrageous get-up in VMA history. And it's the outfit that keeps on giving, since it's since been preserved to sit in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. So that does it for our top 5 wacky fashions.
