A clever red-haired girl, a neat-freak Grandma and a yellow tomcat with his own orchestra live together in a villa reminiscent of Pippi Longstocking's villa .
Neat-freak Grandma just wants to bake a carrot cake, but something else always comes up. Luckily, her clever niece and her over-active husband take care of things and by the end of the movie, the whole family gathers around the coffee table.

Tim and his girlfriend Mia are ladybugs and they want to spend Christmas together. Tim is visiting Mia in her tree when suddenly they realize that something is terribly different.

Where are they? Mia's tree that has just been cut down to become a Christmas tree. In a desperate search to get back to their forest, Mia and Tim have to overcome many obstacles and deal with some strange people. The help they need comes from Santa Claus - who fulfills their dearest wish: to finally get back home! A touching and imaginative story for all ages.
