Star Wars The Old Republic Details From E3 2011

Clevver Games E3 coverage is coming your way right now! Hi everyone I'm Andrea Rene and as part of our ongoing E3 2011 coverage I'm bringing you some awesome details on the upcoming Bioware project Star Wars The Old Republic. In case you're not familiar with the story, it is set 1000 years before the Star Wars movie trilogy. It is a MMORPG or massive multiplayer online role playing game. I got to see some cool features in the demo at the EA booth. First up, I learned about the 8 different classes you can choose to play with, 4 from the Light Side and 4 from the Dark Side. Each class is said to have hundreds of hours of gameplay because each experience will be different. A few of the ones from the light that we saw include the gunslinger, the Jedi Guardian, and the Trooper. It also marks the first time that Bioware has fully voiced an MMO with literally thousands of characters in the Star Wars world. While in conversation with these characters you will get to choose either light or dark side options. Plus, if you are playing co-operatively, each member of your squad will get to choose an option in conversation. Some of the other new gameplay features include heroic combat, companion characters, social hubs, and a galatic trade network. Plus, you'll get your very own starship to travel the galaxy in not to mention the SPACE BATTLES! Oh did I leave out the part about the cool location? There will be hundreds of locations to explore including the famed planets Tatooine and Alderaan. There still is no release date set because Bioware and EA want to make sure the game is up to snuff but trust me when I say, it definitely looks worth waiting for, Star Wars fan or not. Prince Refuses to Record New Music

Hi there, you're watching ClevverMusic. I'm Bridget Daly. According to reports, Prince has decided to halt any recording of music until further notice. He says he'll stick to his plan until piracy of music is controlled better. In an interview with the Guardian, Prince says the idea stems from his hatred of digital music, explaining that he doesnt feel anything when he hears it. He went on to say that the industry has changed a lot, and no one's making money anymore. He said quote, Nobody's making money now except phone companies, Apple and Google. I'm supposed to go to the White House to talk about copyright protection. It's like the gold rush out there. Or a carjacking. There's no boundaries. I've been in meetings and they'll tell you, 'Prince, you don't understand, it's dog-eat-dog out there.' So I'll just hold off on recording." Ok, the whole I'm not making money thing we gotta take with a grain of salt. If Prince had to live like the majority of the world for just one day, he'd probably be biting his tongue about his current financial state.
