Hey hey everyone! Thanks for checking out the show. I'm Dana Ward in Hollywood and we've got the latest deets on this year's People's Choice Awards. Just as expected, this is the show where viewers and fans ultimately decide the best of the best in movies, tv and music. The official nominations list just got released and let's just say that some of your favorites have made this first cut. We're talking about some of the fan favorites like 90210, Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries getting nods in the fave network tv drama category, along with an extra nod for TVD in the sci-fi/fantasy tv show grouping as well as a one for Ian Somerhalder as tv drama actor. PLL got a name in there and Glee along with some of its stars like Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison, Jane Lynch and Lea Michele are definitely representing. Even Justin Bieber's guest spot on CSI got a nomination. So in the music division, JB and Selena Gomez each got a nomination, plus, Taylor Swift grabbed 3. Moving on to the movies, the final Harry Potter flick grabbed nods as the favorites in categories including move, action movie and ensemble movie cast including a separate nod for Daniel Radcliffe. Also grabbing shoutouts in the book adaptation category, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules, I Am Number Four, Soul Surfer and Water for Elephants. Speaking of which, Robert Pattinson's linked to the favorite movie actor grouping while Taylor Lautner is in the action star category. Hello ClevverTV people! I'm your host Dana Ward here in Hollywood and we got official word on who the big role of Carrie Bradshaw has gone to. Of course, there were rumors swirling around town that a handful of stars, like Miley Cyrus or Blake Lively might play the main character based on the Sex and the City book series. It's official via our friends at TV Guide that AnnaSophia Robb is set for the role. Of course, while perhaps a sequel movie is in the works, right now we're talking about a tv series. Yep, it's locked in that the CW is taking on a pilot. In fact, book author Candance Bushnell will executive-producer along with others important to the SATC and Gossip Girl worlds, including Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage, Len Goldstein and Amy Harris. I'm Joslyn Davis in Hollywood and you're watching ClevverTV, with news on Kristin Stewart's take-over of Paris Fashion week. The gorgeous 21 year old star made quite the statement at the Balenciaga show yesterday, rocking an edgy, yet chic look, consisting of super fitted leather pants juxtaposed with a more feminine sleeveless top, over which she sported a cool longer leather coat before entering the show. This look is the perfect combo of rocker and lady-like, which overall screams Kristen Stewart. The "Snow White and the Huntsman" star let her raven locks flow and she kept the make-up to a minimum only adding a touch of color to her clips and eyes. The actress scored a coveted front row seat to the fashion week show, which most definitely was one of the hottest tickets in town, and she was joined by other fashionistas including former Gossip Girl star Clemence Posey and the always-gorgeous Salma Hayek. You might have fallen in love with Anya Marina when her song Satellite Heart was on the Twilight: New Moon soundtrack. Most people fell deeply in love with her when she covered T.I's Whatever You Like and the song appeared on Gossip Girl. I fell deeply in love with the quirky blonde when we got the chance to sit down and chat about her brand-new record Felony Flats and if it was in fact possible to fangirl over a girl, we named it "fan-girl-girling."

The Dig are a rock band from NYC. Their music, written by the bands' three main songwriters, is often based on early rock n roll song forms layered with synths and delivered by alternating lead vocalists. Singers Emile Mosseri and David Baldwin have been making music in various bands together since they were 11 years old. They met up with keyboardist/guitarist Erick Eiser while still in high school, and after writing music together throughout college they eventually moved to New York CIty and formed The Dig.
The Dig got their start in the lower east side of NYC in 2008, and spent their first summer handing out flyers on the street, meeting new people and slowly building up an audience one fan at a time. After 8 weeks of residencies at Pianos and a handful of support shows at Bowery Ballroom, they began to sell out shows on their own.
2009-2010 saw the band touring constantly around the U.S., opening for a wide range of bands including The Walkmen, The Antlers, Portugal. the Man, Thrice,The Editors and Here We Go Magic.
Electric Toys
On June 8th, 2010, The Dig released their debut album. Electric Toys, which was hailed by Last.FM as "without a doubt...one of 2010's best albums." Written and arranged by all four members, the songs often tell a story: dark tales with twisted circumstances and desperate people driven to do bad things. Alternately, there are classical references to girls, love, and the many points in between.
Following the release they continued to tour the U.S., supporting fellow blokes and blokette the Joy Formidable, before playing shows with Liam Gallager's new band, Beady Eye, Viva Brother, Glasvegas and the Postelles.
Produced by Bryce Goggin, Electric Toys' diverse batch of songs helped land The Dig a number of placements on TV shows like Gossip Girl and Vampire Diaries.
As the summer of 2011 winds down, The Dig are currently putting the finishing touches on their new album, which they plan to release in early 2012. In the meantime, you can check out the new video for their song off Electric Toys, "You're Already Gone," at Baeblemusic.com.

This week in the TV world it's all about which TV pilots were picked up for a full season run and which TV shows got the boot. The CW made some surprising cuts, cancelling four shows -- The Secret Circle, Ringer, H8R and Remodeled. 90210, The Vampire Diaries and Gossip Girl will be sticking around, and the three fan-favorite shows will be joined by new series. First up is the highly publicized is what's best described as a prequel series to HBO's Sex and the City. The new series is titled "The Carrie Diaries," and a teen version of the original, and will star Anna Sophia Robb, Chloe Bridges and Austin Butler. "Arrow" is the next show on the CW run-down, and based on the casting, you should get very excited because the talent is top notch -- starring on the show are Stephen Amell and Katie Cassidy, and the drama program is a modern take on DC Comics character Green Arrow. Up next is Cult, which will likely pull in all of the die-hard TVD fans, as Matt Davis is starring in this one. The popular actors will play a journalist blogger who learns that fans of a TV series are recreating fictional crimes in real life -- it sounds like it will be packed with intensity. Up next we're getting "Beauty and the Beast," which will be a modern take on the popular story, and star "Smallville" alum Kristen Kreuk. And lastly, we are excited to announce that the network has added a medical drama to its rundown -- the show, which is titled "First Cut," will star Mamie Gummer, who FYI is the daughter of Meryl Streep.
All in all, the five new shows that the CW is adding look pretty cool, but we'd love to hear which one in particular you're most excited about.
