ABC Family has a new show that's kicking off this year. The full story is next! TV news is coming atcha! Hey everyone. I'm Joslyn Davis for ClevverTV with 411 on a brand new one hour drama joining ABC Family's rundown. With the success of Pretty Little Liars, we're excited to see some more drama over on the network. The show is called "Switched at Birth," and will follow the lives of two teen girls who learn that they were, as I'm sure you've guessed, switched in the hospital when they were born. Vanessa Marano, who you guys might remember as April from Gilmore Girls, is set to star alongside newcomer Katie Leclerc. Vanessa will play Bay Kennish, who was raised in a very wealthy family, while Katie is set to take on the character of Daphne Vasquez, who we will learn lost her hearing at a young age and has since been raised in poor neighborhood with a single mom. The rest of the cast is pretty amazing -- Constance Marie, who is very well-known from her days on George Lopez will play Daphne's mom, Lucas Grabeel form HSM will play Toby Kennish and Lea Thompson from Back to the Future will play Kathryn Kennish. Switched At Birth looks like it's going to be pretty amazing, and we're looking forward to seeing how sign language will play into the overall show -- so are you guys looking forward to seeing this show on ABC Family sometime later this year?
