Hey guys, thanks for joining us again on clevver movies, Im Tatiana carrier and Ive got your top 5 Tuesday. This week we decided to go with the top five sword fighting movies in honor of the three musketeers which releases this week! Coming in 5th place is the Gladiator. The gladiator stars Russell Crowe, Joaquin Phoenix and Connie Nielsen and is about a Roman general who is betrayed and his family murdered by an emperor's corrupt son...he then comes to Rome as a gladiator to seek revenge and REVENGE is exactly what he gets. IN 4th place is 300...300 is about King Leonidas played by Gerard Butler and a force of 300 men who fight the Persians at Thermopylae in 480 B.C. Its gritty, intense and definitely a sword fight worth checking out! In 3rd place is one I might get some slack for...the princess bride. I kow what your thinking, with so many bad ass movies out there, why this one? Well, this flick may be one for the ladies, but there are definiglty some action packed sword sequences in there worthy of a place on our countdown! Pirates of the Caribbean come in 2nd place...if you're a pirates fan, you definitely would agree that any one of the pirates flicks are packed with intense, sit on the edge of your seat battles. The franchise stars Johnny Deppp and the franchise has 4 flicks in the Billion dollar club...making it an easy choice for our countdown And our number one pick for best sword fights go to the star wars franchise. I thnk this one goes without saying...the battles are epic and the franchise is iconic...whichever fight you choose, from whichever star wars flick was your favorite, in our hearts is number one! Gerard Butler, Sam Worthington and Matthew McConaughey will star in Freedom Films' upcoming action thriller "Thunder Run" with Simon West set to direct, announced Brian Presley (who will also produce ) and is CEO of Freedom Films. "Thunder Run," is an all CG 3-D action thriller based on the novel "Thunder Run - The Armored Strike to Capture Baghdad," by Pulitzer Prize-winning correspondent David Zucchino. "Thunder Run" is the untold story of the dangerous and bloody capture of Baghdad by American Forces at the onset of the Iraq War... In telling the story of the surprise assault on Baghdad- one of the most decisive battles in recent American combat history--this movie paints the harrowing picture of the soldiers on the front lines and the realities of modern warfare.
