According to Variety, Gael García Bernal is in talks to play the Spanish swordsman, Zorro, in Fox's Zorro Reborn. The reboot would take Zorro into a post-apocalyptic era. The story will not be set in California or Mexico, but a post-apocalyptic wasteland. The actor would play the masked vigilante bent on revenge.

And whos to helm this post apocolypictic flick? still nobody to fill that chair, but we will be sure to keep you posted as we get more info.

Howevery, what we do know is that Zorro will be less of a hero this time around, as the story paints the character as "a masked vigilante bent on revenge." The script for Zorro Reborn was written by Glenn Gers(who is known for writing Mad Money.)
