Samuel L Jackson Talks SHEILD movie, and ive got the details.

MTV news recently caught up with the man responsible for assembling the avengers, nick fury, aka sam l jacson and he talked about a shield film, heres the scoop....

When MTV brought up the fact that so many people want to see a SHEILD ONLY film with him in it ofcourese, he seemed surprised, he said, "Really?...Just handling it?"

The actor was surprised because he knows there are key characters necessary for any S.H.I.E.L.D. movie. He said, "Natasha is part of S.H.I.E.L.D., Hawkeye is part of S.H.I.E.L.D., and I couldn't do a S.H.I.E.L.D. movie without those two people. They're essential elements of what's there."

Jackson was also asked about more S.H.I.E.L.D. scenes in the upcoming sequels "Captain America 2," "Thor 2," and "Iron Man 3"? He responded, "I don't know how much of S.H.I.E.L.D. [Marvel] want to expose...I mean, we're not superheroes. We're more of a shadow world. So, it would be more like 'Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy' with good toys?closer to a 'Bond' movie than a superhero movie."

We previously reported that Marvel still has one secret movie they have yet to announce that will fill the May 16th, 2014 release date. Would you want to see a S.H.I.E.L.D. movie take that spot? Since ancient times, stories of epic battles and mystical legends have been passed through the generations across the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland. In "Brave," a new tale joins the lore when the courageous Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald) confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts.

Merida is a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus (voice of Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (voice of Emma Thompson). Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (voice of Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (voice of Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (voice of Robbie Coltrane). Merida's actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric old Witch (voice of Julie Walters) for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish. Tekken : Dark Resurrection
Préparez-vous au meilleur Tekken de tous les temps : le King of Iron Fist Tournament a débarqué sur PSP.

Pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas la série Tekken, petit rappel : cette dernière est basée sur le King of Iron Fist Tournament, un tournoi d'arts martiaux international organisé par l'empire financier de la famille Mishima. Les combattants doivent affronter une série d'adversaires redoutables et hauts en couleur, jusqu'à ce qu'il n'en reste qu'un, qui sera sacré champion du King of Iron Fist Tournament. En termes de gameplay, cela se traduit par des combats en un-contre-un entre de nombreux experts en arts martiaux, et surtout par un jeu de baston captivant et d'une complexité rare.

Tekken: Dark Resurrection est un portage de Tekken 5, qui avait fait un énorme carton sur PlayStation 2. Au lieu de jouer la carte du simple portage, Namco a choisi de pousser le concept un peu plus loin en incluant deux personnages entièrement inédits. Âgée de 16 ans, Lili est la fille pourrie-gâtée d'un magnat du pétrole monégasque. D'une agilité remarquable, c'est aussi une combattante redoutable (nul doute qu'elle possède aussi un Chiwawa horripilant). L'autre nouveau venu est Dragunov, un agent russe des SPETSNAZ, avec un visage à faire pâlir d'envie Quasimodo. Heureusement pour lui, il dispose de coups dévastateurs et de combos impressionnantes. Extrêmement réussis, ces deux nouveaux combattants viennent s'ajouter à une liste déjà bien fournie. Cette dernière se monte à présent à 34 personnages que vous pouvez sélectionner dès le début. Vous pouvez tous les personnaliser entièrement, avec une grande variété d'accessoires fun et délirants. Vous pourrez acheter ces derniers grâce à l'or que vous gagnez en mode solo. Ainsi, Jin aura droit à des protège-tibias et Lili à un petit Prince du Cosmos (de Katamari Damacy) qui se perchera sur sa tête. Des personnages bien connus sont de retour, notamment Armor King et Eddy Gordo, ainsi que les Mishima, les Kazama et les Williams. Il y en a donc pour tous les goûts. Les fans d'arts martiaux peuvent choisir le kung-fu animal à cinq formes de Lei Wulong ou le Jeet Kune Do (inspiré de Bruce Lee) de Marshall Law. Les kickboxeurs virtuels ont à leur disposition Bryan Fury et Bruce Irvin. Les amateurs d'animaux de combat génétiquement modifiés n'ont pas non plus été oubliés, avec la présence de Roger Jr Kuma et Panda.

Les graphismes sont tout simplement à couper le souffle. Les personnages sont ultra détaillés, débordants d'émotions et incroyablement réalistes. Quant aux effets des environnements, ils donnent vie aux niveaux, grâce à une herbe, une eau, des sols et des murs d'un réalisme exceptionnel qui volent en éclats et se déforment lorsque les combattants y sont balancés par leurs adversaires. La bande-son est elle aussi très réussie, avec de la techno bien rythmée parfaitement dans l'esprit du jeu, une ambiance sonore géniale et des doublages anglais de tout premier ordre.

Cela dit, c'est dans les modes multijoueurs que Tekken: Dark Ressurection excelle véritablement. Vous pouvez défier vos amis en mode ad hoc ou Partage du jeu avec un exemplaire du soft, mais la nouveauté la plus intéressante de Tekken: Dark Ressurection est sans aucun doute la fonction Tekken Ghost. Grâce à cette dernière, vous avez la possibilité d'enregistrer les combats au cours desquels vous exécutez vos meilleures combos et vos techniques les plus dévastatrices. Ensuite, vous pouvez charger tout cela sur Internet. Les autres joueurs pourront ensuite télécharger votre "fantôme" et le combattre. Vous pouvez également télécharger les "fantômes" d'autres joueurs et affronter des combattants du monde entier. Cette excellente trouvaille devrait théoriquement fournir un nombre inépuisable d'adversaires. Il n'y a pratiquement pas de décalage quand vous jouez en ligne (c'est essentiel pour un beat'em up). De plus, il existe des classements des meilleurs scores dans un nombre impressionnant de catégories. Les plus compétiteurs d'entre vous seront donc ravis !

Comme si ça ne suffisait pas, Tekken: Dark Resurrection propose également de super mini-jeux, notamment du bowling et une course au trésor à la sauce Tekken. Dans cette dernière, chaque coup que vous infligez à votre adversaire vous permet de gagner de l'argent à dépenser dans la boutique de personnalisation du jeu. Cela vient s'ajouter au tout nouveau mode solo Tekken Dojo, dans lequel vous grimpez au classement en venant à bout de vos adversaires. Ce faisant, vous pourrez aussi débloquer de nouveaux objets et des vidéos inédites.

Bref, Tekken: Dark Resurrection est un jeu PSP IMMANQUABLE. Si vous n'avez jamais joué à Tekken auparavant, cette version superlative est idéale pour se mettre dans le bain. Si vous êtes déjà fan, hé bien, vous savez ce qu'il vous reste à faire... Ready? Fight!

Well its Monday and that means ONE THING...the avengers assemble in four short days! I was lucky enough to see the flick before it hits the big screen (I know, I Know), so here are MY thoughts on the avengers. Honestly, I don't even want to do a review bc it was just THAT good...nothing I say will justify the greatness of this flick...it's a must see, and joss whedon NAILED this one folks.

The action is edge of your seat, and you actually FEEL the connection between these superheroes...The avengers adventure is one you WONT want to miss out on...as cliché as it sounds, you will laugh, possibly shed a tear, and the final act will be better than the perfection you hope for.

So we all know the premise...Nick Fury Assembles the avengers so they can save the world from evil loki and his army...which spoiler alert, are in fact the chitari. As the avengers are gathered from their respective lives, we get a glimpse into whats been going on for each of the superheros...so its safe to say, this film is for everyone...not just those with a deep knowledge of the marvel universe. The big question leading up to the avengers was, will it be TOO over the top for the average consumer to enjoy...while it is over the top, in the best way possible, its not so convoluted that it would hinder a non master of the marvel universe from understanding whats going on. Of course the extra knowledge helps piece together the plot much better, but by no means was it required to have scored an Aplus in avengers 101 --- although, if you hav a chance to watch iron man, thor, or cap America prior to heading out to see the avengers, it wouldn't hurt and will probably make the film even more enjoyable for you. Either way, the movie will and DOES make sense for everyone.

While all the super heros brought their a game, I will say the hulk stole the show. Why? Well, he is one of the avengers we, as average movie goer knew the least about. Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America have graced our silver screens in the last couple of years...hulk, not so much. But Bruce Banner was the troubled guy we could all relate to, and the hulk was the dude we were rooting for to just tear ish up...and that he did! One of my favorite scenes in the movie featured him literally "smashing" loki on the ground...sorry for the spoiler...it was amazing...and the entire theatre lit up with laughter...bc while the hulk is someone not to be messed with...there was comic relief in his delivery...a perfect balance between the two.

And that is the best way for me to describe the avengers. A perfect balance...the film brought us the in your face action we all craved and anticipated, but didn't forget about the story...the emotion that kept us in our seats, highly engaged for the duration of the film. I was rooting for the avengers not only because they were the heros, but also because throughout the movie, we got to know the characters on a deeper level than just butt kicking super heros.

All in all The Avengers is a must see for everyone and comes highly recommended from us at clevver movies. The film is already breaking records internationally, and come Friday, I am thinking may be the biggest superhero film of all time.

Nick Fury is at war...and its NOT with lokis army this time! Details coming your way...

According to the hollywood reporter, Samuel L. Jackson, who stars in the avengers as the tough, eye-patched S.H.I.E.L.D. commander, got a lil protective over his avengers and lashed out via twitter...and who was the target of his tweets? None other than New York Times film critic A.O. Scott, who gave the film a poor grade in his review.

Jackson tweeted, "#Avengers fans,NY Times critic AO Scott needs a new job! Let's help him find one! One he can ACTUALLY do!"

So why the animosity toward scott? Well Scott, while giving credit to director Joss Whedonfor including some snappy dialogue, ultimately conclcuded that, quote, "While The Avengers is hardly worth raging about, its failures are significant and dispiriting. The light, amusing bits cannot overcome the grinding, hectic emptiness, the bloated cynicism that is less a shortcoming of this particular film than a feature of the genre."

Jackson responded to Twitter user @TheFilmNest, who said, "Disappointed to hear @SamuelLJackson respond irrationally to negative review of #Avengers. People aren't entitled to their own opinion?" by saying, "That is My Opinion! @TheFilmNest & what's irrational about it? They aren't going to fire his jaundiced ass & You & I Know It!"

In response, Scott said simply, "Jaundiced?" and retweeted words of support from other critics.

Regardless of scotts poor review, all in all the film is doing amazing both in the box office and with the critics. So far the flick has a 93% on rotten tomatoes and has earned over 280 million in the foreign box office and has a tracking of 150 million for the us.
