Now we all know that Hollywood is filled with hook-ups and break-ups, and we decided since it's the end of the year, we should take a look back at the hottest couples to make headlines this year. Let's start things off with one of our favorite on-screen romances turned real-life relationship. Of course we're talking about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. After years of flying under the radar, the two finally came out and almost complelety admitted to their romance this fall, just in time for the debut of Breaking Dawn Part 1, which of course featured their much anticipated wedding scene, Hm... could this be foreshadowing future events? Our next couple is easily one of the entertainment world's most powerful duos --Beyonce and Jay-Z. Now, we know that they've been together for several years now but news of a baby being on the way made this Mr. and Mrs. one of the most talked about couples of 2011. And, speaking of most talked about, how could we not mention Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth. Both Miley and Liam have each made headlines in their own right this year, however their status a couple garners tons of attention in and of itself. While they have been on and off a bit in the past, it seems like this union is stronger than ever. Liam has been taking family vacations with the Cyrus family, and he even celebrated Thanksgiving with them! Now another couple that we have to mention is Katy Perry and Russell Brand. These two have had a whirlwind romance getting married last year only after a few months of dating. They both have crazy busy schedules and don't get to spend all that much time together, which fueled silly rumors that they were headed towards divorce, but contrary to tabloid rumors, every time we see these two together they seem even more in love than before. Any couple that can battle all that negative talk and still be that adorable together definitely deserves a spot on our countdown. Out in LA land, there is another super hot couple that is more than worthy of top ranking status. Suspicions about Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder dating have been aplenty for quite some time, and we've got to hand it to them for keeping their personal lives under the wraps. Even if they don't confirm or deny romance reports, there is no doubt these two can steam up any situation whether it be on TVD or off screen. Now another on-screen romance that turned real life can be found in our next hottest couple, Taylor Lautner and Lily Collins. These two apparently hit it off during the filming of "Abduction," and while we loved the sheer attractiveness factor of this couple, rumors of their breakup had started surfacing even before the movie hit theaters, and now it appears as though this once hot couple is no more. Now let's see... we've had a TV hook-up and a Movie romance, so how about one from each? That is what we're looking at with our next couple Chord Overstreet and Emma Roberts. Now I don't know about you guys but we could not love these two any more than we already do. They went public back in July and we loved following these two ever since. Another couple we loved in 2011 was Ashley Greene and Joe Jonas. We all know that Joe has dated some of our favorite ladies in Hollywood, but with Ashley, many fans thought this could be the real deal. Even though these two seemed perfect for each other their relationship came to an end in March. And as much as we adore all of the couples on our countdown, there is one relationship that has literally turned the entertainment world upside down, and I guess that's what happens when two of the world's biggest stars start dating. Of course I'm talking about none other than Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. These two officially came out as a couple in February and the world went nuts. From red carpet team-ups, to dates that take over arena stadiums, it's clear that the romance in this relationship is very much alive. Congrats to Selena and Justin for taking on any obstacle that comes along and having a blast together along the way, which is why they are at the top of our Hottest Couples for 2011. Bio-diversity in China's lakes and rivers is suffering because of pollution and human development, according to recent reports. Experts have linked much of the damage to massive hydropower constructions along the Yangtze River, which is China's longest river. They say these dams take a toll on the local ecosystem.
On Monday, state-run Xinhua News Agency cited a report by the Nanjing Institute of Geography and Limnology, which found that 243 lakes each covering about 0.4 square miles in China have disappeared in the past 50 years. Other researches have found that bio-diversity in lakes along the Yangtze River has decreased from 20 to 50 percent.
Marine biologist from the Chinese Academy of Sciences professor Liu Xueqin says this drop is a result of human activity along the Yangtze River?like industrial pollution and hydro-dams.
[Professor Liu Xueqin, Marine Biologist from the Chinese Academy of Sciences]:
"The middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze river used to be connected to the lakes along it. But because of the numerous dams built along the river during the 1950s to the 70s, many of the lakes were cut off. This means migratory fish had nowhere to go, and the lakes could no longer support them."
Hydrogeologist Professor Fan Xiao is also critical of major dam constructions, like the controversial Three Gorges Dam.
[Professor Fan Xiao, Hydrogeologist]:
"The dam has turned natural rivers into a ladder of interconnected reservoirs. The water flow, speed and temperature as well as sediment have all been changed dramatically. Although this can help the economy by producing electricity, the ecology in the lower reaches, and other users of the water resource will suffer."
The Chinese regime has invested heavily in hydropower as an alternative to coal-fueled energy.

Weve got some avengers Spoilers thanks to some TOYS!! Hey everyone, thanks so much for tuning into clevver movies, Im your host, Tatiana Carrier with details on some toys that have all of us wondering...what is REALLY going on with the avengers?!

Recently at a toy fair, MTV got some snapshots of some villiounous avengers characters....And to us, and everyone else who saw them, these toys from "The Avengers" Mighty Battle Skill and Strategy Game look like the spitting image of the shape-shifting Skrulls!
.
Now as you guys already know, the Skrull's involvement in the upcoming film have been denied for many reasons...mostly legal....however, this coupled with the recent Superbowl ad makes it very hard to argue that they don't play a large part. As an added bonus, the bottom right hand side of the box states it's "the Battle for the Cosmic Cube!" BUT before we jump on the Skrull bandwaagon, know that it isn't rare for a company to producer a toy that actually ISN'T in the movie For example, how many transform figrues were there that WEREN'T in the Transformers movie. Fox may own the movie rights to the Skrulls, but Marvel can still use them as action figures and in board games. So we should be ready for that
.
In addition to the skrulls sitch, some legos may have spoiled some key scenes for us...if you don't want to know ANYTHING until may 3rd please stop watching now...and watch this amazeballs story I did last week talking more about the bad guys (avengers bad guys revealed)...if not...lets get started!

At the same toy fair, some legos did a little more than look good... check out these official images that have been released by Marvel while I read the spoiler-ish descriptions.

First up, THE CAP! "While riding his Avenging Cycle, Captain America spots the general on his craft. Help Captain America use his indestructible shield to defeat the general and his foot soldier! Win the battle and send them back to where they came from. The fate of the world lies in your hands. Includes 3 minifigures: Captain America and more." It's unclear exactly who the "general" and "foot soldier" are, but we're assuming they will be the so-called skrulls slash redacted we mentioned earlier."

Next up, LOKI! "Loki is escaping from S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters with the powerful Cosmic Cube. If he succeeds, he could use it to wreak havoc on the world! Will Iron Man in his amazing armored suit alongside Hawkeye in his function-packed S.H.I.E.L.D. off-roader be fast enough to catch Loki, or will the Asgardian villain escape with the Cosmic Cube? You decide! Includes 3 minifigures: Iron Man, Loki and Hawkeye." So it looks like Loki will in fact get his hands on the Cosmic Cube that was teased at the end of 'Thor'."

Now for the Hulk..."The Hulk and Thor have Loki captured on board the Avengers' awesome Helicarrier. Using his powers of trickery and illusion, Loki makes Hawkeye lose control of his function-packed jet fighter. Help Hulk bring down the malfunctioning jet fighter and its flick-missiles by smashing the fuel canisters to hit the jet fighter! Then jump onto the jet fighter and rescue Hawkeye from the cockpit with the cockpit blast function! Includes 4 minifigures: Hulk, Thor, Hawkeye and Loki."

And finally, the Quinjet Arial Battle...Loki is up to no good and is planning to destroy the earth! As he flies into battle on board his chariot, help the Avenger's defeat their nemesis using the supersonic Quinjet! Fire the missiles, release the mini-jet and imprison Loki in the prison pod! With the high-tech Quinjet, the Avengers can't fail! Includes Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow, Loki and more minifigures. This sounds like the scene we see in the trailer where Thor lands on the Quinjet

He paid his dues north of the border, and through steady touring, club gigs and annual appearances at respected events like the Ottawa Blues Festival and the Montreal International Jazz Festival, the young blues/rocker built a powerful fan following and enviable radio airplay. Momentum was further fueled by Trevor's numerous nominations and awards, media attention and critical recognition from Billboard, Real Blues, and the Toronto Blues Society, among others.

Spoiler alert. We finally know who A is on Pretty Little Liars. Are you ready?? We found out in the season-2 finale titled "unmAsked" that A is MONA!! It might seem that simple, but it's definitely not. So let's start with a little recap action. The episode surrounds a masquerade ball -- the girls look amazing in their dresses -- and the whole mask thing keeps us guessing about some people's identities... including the girl in a black swan themed gown. This person is definitely hanging with a no-longer-blind Jenna and Lucas. But before the big gala, clues including a postcard lead the girls to a creepy motel. No one is around... Except a hooded stranger is spying on them. They figure out that Ali checked in twice there - under Vivianne's name. And we learn via Mona that Ali was watching A. When Spencer realizes this -- fast forward to the gala where there are definitely some romantic moments -- did you see the #EzriaGoesPublic post??, she and Mona rush back to the motel as a duo and go into room-2. It has hundreds of photos of Ali, her personal belongings and more. Then with hints, like a gum wrapper in Ali's diary as Mona offers gum to Spencer and the big reveal, we see that Mona is A. Apparently, it was about revenge to her, as the girls stole away her friend, Hanna. The rest of the girls are able to take a short cut to catch up to them on the road, and after a scuffle, Mona winds up falling off the cliff. But she's still alive, taken to a mental ward where this is the explanation from Dr. Sullivan -- yes, she's back -- about Mona as A: Mona is in a "perpetual state of hyper reality. The adrenaline rush that accompanied her feelings of empowerment and her high level of intelligence fueled Mona's ability to be seemingly all knowing and omnipresent." Then the episode ends with the coroner taking away a dead body and it might just be Maya. Basically, A delivered on the promise that someone would wind up in a body bag if the girls didn't listen to A's orders by midnight. We're left with a visit to Mona from another part of the "we" making up A. The person is wearing red and Mona says that she's done everything the person has asked her to do.
