Chace Crawford was looking quite dapper at the 2012 Met Gala red carpet. It's no surprise since this is the much talked about "event" of the year at the Metropolitan Museum. It's the Costume Gala where Hollywood's best dressed arrive in their most couture and stylish pieces. Bringing it back to Chace, he took on a black suit, tie, pocketsquare and smirk -- the last accessory is the only one not provided by designer Kenneth Cole. The Jonas Brothers walked the red carpet in style as a group. Nick took on some sheen on his pants while Kevin kept it more matte in Black Fleece by Brooks Brothers and then Joe went for all out sheen in his head to toe Calvin Klein tuxedo. Glee's Darren Criss fit right in with the stylish crowd. He too went for a bowtie and tuxedo -- and the fabric of the suit was uniquely cool yet still classic. Nice work for this star. Even NFL player Tim Tebow was on hand for the night of fashion and Hollywood glamour. He told Vogue that he is just blessed to be there -- while rocking a very classic black tuxedo by Ralph Lauren Purple Label. So those are some of our favorite looks from the night at the Met. Kristen Stewart showed off her flare for edgy and chic fashion when she hit the Met Gala red carpet last night. The Twilight actress, who is also the face of Balenciaga, wore a creation from the high-end fashion house to what many consider the US's biggest night in the couture world. As usual, K-stew stayed true to her own personal style by wearing something a little bit rock and roll. The knee length frock featured some funky red, black and purple on the bottom, while the top portion was a hip geometric silver and black print done all in embellishments. This dress was one of the more risky looks at the MET gala and that's why we love it -- this event is all about fashion as art and you're definitely getting that idea with this dress. To finish off the look, Kristen rocked some unique black pointed-toe pumps with tons and tons of thick white straps and in true K-stew form, the stylista opted for simple hair and makeup and said no to accessories. Nina Dobrev was a show-stopper on the Met Gala red carpet and we have the fashion rewind. The Met Gala is an annual who's who of the style world, and just being invited is quite the honor. Vampire Diaries' star Nina Dobrev didn't simply attend the event -- she completely took over the red carpet in a creation from Donna Karan. The black and gold gown was inspired by a dress worn by Gwyneth Paltrow in "Great Expectation," and featured a gorgeous train. The dress' bead-work pattern was absolutely impeccable and the fit gave the overall look a modern flare, especially when you take a look at the varying size of the straps. To finish off the look, Nina's brown locks were upswept into a low bun and her accessories very minimal, which was a great move, and lets the dress do all the talking. Sheer fabric was all the rage at the Snow White and the Huntsman premiere. The stars of the movie stepped out for the affair, looking styled to perfection in the trend. One of our faves, Kristen Stewart, wore an intricate gown by Marchesa. Starting from the top, it featured a long sleeve and high scoop neck cut with tons of lace detailing and bold fabric patterns. The sheer overlay with its silver tinted stitching was quite unique and it faded into a full black skirt -- again, taking on the sheer fabric trend. Kristens simple updo was a great addition and the makeup focus definitely stopped on her slightly smokey eyes. We need to give a shoutout to her Snow White co-star, Charlize Theron who also took on this high fashion trend in her Christian Dior gown. It was definitely a bit more risqué in the look department with more of the focus on the sheer stylings. The cross halter fabric cut was sophisticated and the entire length of the skirted area had endless see-through black sheets. Charlize's eyes were heavily smoked out and she chose turquoise jewelry to pop with the dramatic look.
