I'm Dana Ward and we're reviewing some of the designer styles from some of our fave gals this Academy Award weekend. Both Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens showed up to the Elton John viewing party looking glamorous in totally different ways. Up first, Tisdale went for neutral, sparkly stylings. Her gown was a bit more full in the floor outreach, the high neck was classy and she too wore her hair back, placing the focus on her red pout. And Vanessa opted for a cool silver fitted strapless mini dress. The layers of sparkle and fabric kept the eye darting around the overall look, so you couldn't miss her black detailed heels, messy yet styled hair and deep colored lip. Lady Gaga Announces Duet With Elton John

Lady Gaga has just announced her latest collaboration! She's reportedly set to work with Elton John on a duet! She revealed the news on British talk show Alan Carr's Chatty Man, and said quote, "My next duet, I believe, will be with Elton. "I'm already working on my next album, and I played him a song that I wrote and he really loved it. I don't want to give anything [else] away!" Now as you know this isn't the first time she and Elton have worked together?they recorded the track Hello Hello for the Gnomeo and Juliet soundtrack last year. Lady Gaga, Madonna Nominated for Golden Globes

The Golden Globe noms were announced this morning and it looks like some of our faves are competing in the same category. Madonna, Elton John and Lady Gaga all face off in the Best Original Song in a Motion Picture Category. Gaga and Elton are responsible for Hello Hello off the Gnomeo and Juliet soundtrack. Now you'll notice Gaga's name doesn't exactly appear on the list. While she duetted with Elton on the song, she was stripped off the song as it appears on the actual soundtrack, apparently due to legal reasons. But hey she's still a part of the song as far as we're concerned. As for Madonna, she co-wrote the ballad Masterpiece for her directorial debut W.E. alongside Julie Frost and Jimmy Harry. The awards show is right around the corner on January 15th on NBC?which is really the kickoff of award show season 2012! You guys excited? It looks like Justin Timberlake may finally be combining his two loves?music and movies. According to the LA Times, a biopic about Elton John is in the works and JT is at the top of the icon's list. Elton told the paper quote, "I've got a wish list of people. No. 1 on my wish list is Justin Timberlake." And since Elton and partner David Furnish are producing the film, his wish just might come true! He went on to say that he wants the film to be a surreal look at his life, referencing Moulin Rouge as an example. He said," I just don't want it to be a normal biopic because my life hasn't been like that." So get excited guys! Elton John's Husband David Furnish Lashes Out on Madonna at 2012 Golden Globes
Both Elton John and Madonna were nominated for a Golden Globe last night for Original song, but when Madonna won Elton's husband decided to do what most normal people do?lash out on facebook! ?Madonna. Best Song??? F-ck off!!? David Furnish wrote on his facebook page. Oh that's not all. There was more. ?Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in it's narcissism. And her criticism of Gaga shows how desperate she really is.?But it's not only David Furnish who is not a fan of Madonna. Sir Elton John had some words for Madonna before the awards show as well. Madonna ?doesn't have a f-cking chance of winning tonight, ? Elton said before the awards show. Bite your tongue Elton Bite your tongue! What a catfight huh? Madonna and Elton John. These two are always going at it!

We love a little drama to kick off our short work week, and this one involves none other than Lady Gaga and Madonna...again! But this time both Elton John AND his partner have been thrown into the mix! Apparently Elton and David Furnish arent big Material Girl fans and are none to happy about her getting the Golden Globe for Best Original Song, which by the way, Elton was also up for for Gnomeo and Juliet. Well that win obviously shocked the hell out of them, since Elton had previously said she didnt have an effing chance. David then took to his Facebook to write, "Madonna. Best song???? F? off!!!" His rant continued with quote, "Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in it's narcissism. Thanks for coming back to the show. I'm Dana Ward here in Hollywood with some info surrounding one of the much talked about 2012 Super Bowl commercials. This round, we're chatting about the Pepsi commercial. Thanks to a behind-the-scenes video, we get to see footage straight from the shoot, and not only is the focus on the winner of The X Factor, Melanie Amaro and how cool it is to be singing some RESPECT on the royal-themed set, but you'll also get to see some major star appearances in there as well. Dude, Elton John is in the ad -- in fact, it seems like he is the king of the court. He's looking absolutely regal and he speaks nothing but great things about Melanie, including that she's got a great personality that will make her an excellent live performer. You'll also see a cameo from Glee's Josh Sussman -- he's definitely a court jester singing a pretty funny and awkward rendition of Nelly's Hot in Here. This is definitely a performance commercial from Pepsi to look out for during Super Bowl 46 -- apparently, there's a surprise ending.
