One of the UK's hottest ladies, Elizabeth Hurley, has signed on for a multi-episode arc for GG's 5th season. And yes, you can expect her to throw the cast for a loop! So here's what we know about Liz's character. According to the show's producers her character's name is Diana Payne and she'll be "a sexy, smart, self-made media mogul and an all-around force to be reckoned with." We're not sure how exactly she'll fit into the story line aside from that, but we do have our guesses. With Serena being a constant subject in the media spotlight and Blair stepping into the limelight with her royal engagement, we're guessing Diana will have a run-in with one or both of these two during the course of the upcoming season. Thanks to recent photos snapped of Leighton Meester on the streets of New York City, we now know that GG is back at it shooting for the upcoming season. Leighton has returned from the world of Monte Carlo, and was just spotted on the upper west side of Manhattan wearing what can only be described as the perfect summer look for Blair Waldorf. The gorgeous actress donned a ruffly yellow top with a patterned skirt, and finished things off with bright yellow pumps and red lips! Plus, we can't forget to mention the fact that yes, Blair was also sporting that gigantic rock on her ring finger, which means that the royal engagement is still very much on! You can always count on Gossip Girl for two things -- amazing fashion and unimaginable twists and turns.
