TV On The Radio bassist Gerard Smith passed away on April 20th ? our condolences to his family and friends. The band have called off a series of tour dates in support of ?Nine Types of Light?, which they previewed parts of last month at SXSW, including the catchy aggro-rap number ?Repetition?. For their Letterman appearance, they featured a couple of dancers on the moody, sensuous ?Will Do?, a welcome but far different vibe then the one they unleashed on the Ed Sullivan stage in 2006, when they debuted the adrenaline fueled rocker ?Wolf Like Me?. We hope the band manage to reconstitute themselves soon and carry on ? their sound on ?Nine Types? has developed and matured to the point where they're one of the most creativly adventurous indie rock outfits out there. With the release of the excellent ?Collapse Into Now? R.E.M. have definitively put to rest any notion of a mid-career slump. Over at REMHQ, video documents from the Athens rockers' summer 2010 sessions at Berlin's Hansa studios have slowly been dribbling out, starting with ?Discoverer?, the album's propulsive first cut, and more recently with ?Alligator Aviator Autopilot Antimatter? (a track that on record features contributions from Peaches and Lenny Kaye) and also the humourously-titled ?Mine Smell Like Honey?. It's great to see Stipe, Mills, Buck and Berry having so much fun playing the new material?watching them rip through Accelerate's ?Living Well? in Paris in 2008 makes us hope the boys might relent and decide to play a few dates in support of this great new record. Writing in the April issue of Uncut, John Lewis nicely captures the enviable position that UK pop stars Elbow now find themselves in: ?A well-deserved Mercury prize triumph in 2008 has elevated them into rock's premier league, and turned Guy Garvey ? keen birdwatcher, unrepentant Yes fan and the band's affable front man ? into something of a national treasure.? Tai Chi: Spread Arms Like Fan Turn Around and Chop - part of the women's fitness video series by GeoBeats. Hello, my name is Tiffany Chen. I am from William C. C. Chen's Tai Chi Chuan. I am going to work on spread arms like fan into step around and chop. Begin by turning to your left. Left leg in front, right leg behind. And I just want you to put your hands in front of you, touch the wrist of the right arm gently with the fingers of the left hand, and relax exhaling, and dip to the left slightly sinking into the left leg, the energy spiraling down. And then when the energy finishes spiraling down, let it naturally bounce back up and bring the right palm to your temple and the left hand extends out in front of you. Now shift the weight back into the right leg. The right leg is going to pull the left foot in so you are pigeon toed and both hands are by the sides of your head. Shift the weight into the left leg. Drop the right hand to the fist. Left hand comes over to the right shoulder. We are going to use the left leg to help spin us around and flip the fist over and step wide with the right. Shift the weight into the right leg, step through with the left leg, sinking. So, as we sink and relax, the fist appears to sink behind the left hand, but it is the body that is relaxing, we are not pulling our elbow back past the body. Relax and then chop, opening up the fist of the right hand. Cross over. Step back with the left, step forward with the right, and push. And this completes that segment.

Hello everyone, I'm Joslyn Davis with 411 that the Biebs has taken the idea of father-son bonding to the next level by getting a matching tattoo with his dad Jeremy. As you know Justin debuted some new ink on his upper rip cage area when he was photographed during his recent trip to Hawaii, and now thanks to a bunch of new shots hitting the web, we now know that the tat -- which reads Jesus in Hebrew -- has an added meaning, because J-B got the tattoo done with his dad back in May. Scooter Braun, Justin manager was also present and visible in the one the photos, looking on as Justin got his tattoo. There are several photos of Justin at the tattoo artist's shop, most of which picture him in the chair, as he grimaces, while his dad actually holds his hand -- very sweet. Maybe Justin was inspired during his trip to Israel a few months back. He's been very open about his faith and how much it means to him. However, I should add that this isn't Justin's first tattoo -- in fact, in celebration of his 16th birthday, he actually got a seagull on his hip -- something that other members of his family reportedly have, as well. Of course we're super excited about this fun holiday, as you can tell, and we're not the only ones -- tons of favorite Vampire Diaries stars partied it up this weekend for the costumed holiday and they definitely impressed us with their skills. Nina Dobrev was on a total tweet-fest posting tons of photos from the cast's night out. So first up, check out Michael Trevino and his Glee-star girlfriend Jenna Uschowitz -- I mean, this is hilarious -- take a look at their Legends of the Hidden Temple team costumes and they're not messing around with their elbow pads, helmets and Michael really goes there with his neon mouth guard. These two looked amazing, but they might have been outdone by Candice Accola and Zach Roerig who dressed up a mini-baby pageant queen from Toddlers and Tiara's and her super creepy stage dad, who correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Zach's rocking a killer mullet there. UP next, we've got to give major props to Nina Dobrev for her amazing Hermione Granger costume -- gotta love seeing the star of a vampire show pay homage to Harry Potter, PLUS, Nina and Emma Watson have become close friends after starring in the "Perks of Being a Wallflower" together so maybe Em hooked her up with some pointers.
