Im Dana Ward for Clevver TV and today were chatting about the Razzies. Its the award that no celebrity actually wants to win. Thats because the Razzies honor or according to its official site, DIShonor some of Hollywoods top stars. Yes, you heard correctly: the voting members of The Golden Raspberry Award Foundation decide the worst actors, actresses and movies in the entertainment industry. This 30th annual show nominated Miley Cyrus for Hannah Montana, Beyonce in Obsessed, Golden Globe winner Sandra Bullock (but for the movie All About Steve), Sarah Jessica Parker in Did You Hear about the Morgans as well as Megan Fox in Jennifers Body AND in Transformers 2. They must really love Fox over at the Razzies. Meanwhile in the worst actors category, all three Jonas Brothers got a nod for their 3-D concert experience, as well as Steve Martin, Will Ferrell, Eddie Murphy and John Travolta. If you can believe it, these guys and gals also de-crown supporting roles. Some possible favorites in the fan world include Billy Ray Cyrus, Hugh Hefner, Ali Larter, Sienna Miller and get this Robert Pattinson. And in the Worst Screen Couple, straight from the list, any two or more Jonas Brothers, Shia LaBeouf and EITHER Megan Fox OR any transformer as well as Kristen Stewart and EITHER Robert Pattinson OR Taylor Whatz-His-Fang. Speaking of Twilight, New Moon got put into the worst remake or sequel category in addition to a worst screenplay nomination. Hey guys, thanks for tuning back into clevver movies, Im Tatiana carrier and ive got the latest on Tower Heist Its looking like Universal and parent company Comcast are making director Brett Ratner's action-comedy available in homes three weeks after it opens in theaters. However, a few directors are not on board with this rare decision. In April, Brett Ratner joined James Cameron and 20 or so other directors in opposing a premium VOD test offering movies for $29.99 only 60 days after their theatrical release, saying it would erode the moviegoing experience. Tower Heist will be offered to Comcast digital subscribers for $59.99 only three weeks after the action comedy opens in theaters on Nov. 4. The test, designed to gauge consumer interest in such a service, will be conducted in Portland and Atlanta. A spokesperson for Ratner said the director was not involved in the decision--making process. The spokepersonal said, "Brett was made aware of Universal's PVOD experiment with Tower Heist yesterday. It is a test limited to Portland and Atlanta. Brett did not participate in the planning of this test." Tower heist is about a group of hard working guys find out they've fallen victim to a wealthy business man's scheme, so they conspire to rob his high-rise residence. stars Eddie Murphy, Ben Stiller Matthew broderick and Casey Affleck . Unfortunrlay, I am sad to report that bev hills cop 4 wont be happening according to the closest source to the franchise, eddie murphy. In a recent Rolling Stone interview, Eddie Murphy talked candidly about both his career choices and the long promised Beverly Hills Cop 4, which he says will never happen. Heres what murphy said, quote: "They're not doing it. What I'm trying to do now is produce a TV show starring Axel Foley's son, and Axel is the chief of police now in Detroit. I'd do the pilot, show up here and there. None of the movie scripts were right; it was trying to force the premise. If you have to force something, you shouldn't be doing it. It was always a rehash of the old thing. It was always wrong." He also went on to say he wants to take on more EDGY roles, like his latest role in Tower heist where you can check him out as Slide. Forbes Full List http://onforb.es/uMGmpI Hey there movie buffs, Tatiana carrier here with Forbes list of the most overpaid actors...can you guess who came in at number one? According to the Hollywood reporter Drew Barrymore and Eddie Murphy have topped Forbes Magazine's 2011 edition of their list of Hollywood's Most Overpaid Actors. According to the magazine's data, which looks at the star's compensation for his or her last three films and the operating income for those films, Barrymore returns just 40 cents for every dollar the studios spend on her. The number two performer on the list, Murphy, may be in the midst of a career upswing, with his role in the upcoming Tower Heist and his gig hosting the 2012 Oscars. The magazine calculates that Murphy returns $2.70 for every dollar spent on him. Also on the list is one of my all time favs, Will Ferrell, who topped the magazine's overpaid list for the previous two years, was third in 2011. His return is $3.50. Reese Witherspoon is just behind Ferrell, with a return average of $3.55 and finally Denzel Washington rounds out the top five, with an average of $4.25. Weekend Box Office Preview: Tower Heist, A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas

I'm Dana Ward stepping in for Tatiana Carrier for ClevverMovies. Today we're breaking out our predictions for this weekend at the box office. So here we go. This week, we're going to have to say that Tower Heist is going to steal away the top spot from its current place holder, Puss In Boots. With a projected 30 million dollar opening, Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy's comedy genius are sure to bring in a huge crowd, well at least we're hoping. We love both of these guys and it would be so nice to see them in good movie together. Coming in at number 2 we think that Puss will hang on. This Shrek spin-off has shown to be popular with families and critics alike, and there is no way this little fur ball is dropping out anytime soon. Coming in at 3, we think it will be the next installment of Harold and Kumar. Kicking off the Holiday season, A very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas opens this weekend and is projected to earn about 15 million. We think this will resonate well with fans but may have a hard time hooking new comers, especially with those exorbitant 3D prices. So It should be a solid, but not exceptional weekend for the stoner comedy. At 4 we think that "In Time" will continue to hold on with another 8 million or so. Now this movie has been getting mixed reviews, but who doesn't love a thriller? And with a little Justin Timberlake mixed in, it's at least one to check out. And rounding out the bunch we think that Paranormal Activity will grab the last spot. The thrill of Halloween may be over, especially with sales for this film dropping over 50 percent. But there is still something that pulls the audience in every time, and we think it will make about another 6 million this weekend. Well there you guys have it, our box office predictions! Hey guys, Tatiana carrier here for clevver movies and I've got the details on the 2 huge Oscar exits that have everyone in Hollywood talking! Lets start with the once host, Eddie Murphy. It is officially confirmed that the Murphy has stepped down from hosting duties from this years Oscars! So why the exit, well it all comes down to the other exit we are talking about...Director Brett Ratner has also confirmed his exit as Oscar producer. Heres what murphy had to say: " "First and foremost I want to say that I completely understand and support each party's decision with regard to a change of producers for this year's Academy Awards ceremony. I was truly looking forward to being a part of the show that our production team and writers were just starting to develop, but I'm sure that the new production team and host will do an equally great job." Ratner had been named as the producer of the 2012 Academy Awards show, but has since been under fire for making a series of tasteless & derogatory remarks in recent days. After being criticized by the media and offending Glaad beyond words, Ratner decided it was best for him to step down from his position....which ultimately led to muphys step down. We just reported yesterday that both brett ratner and eddie murphy have stepped down from Oscar duties...first ratner who was dealing with backlash from tasteless comments, then followed murphy whos loyalties to ratner were bigger than his want to host the Oscars. Now everyones asking, who will take their place? Well, Brian Grazer has stepped up to produce, and now a certan group is being campaigned to host...that GROUP im speaking of are non other than...the muppets. Over 19,000 Facebook users (and counting) are hoping for with their latest social media campaign titled ? you guessed it ? The Muppets Should Host the 2012 Oscars to manifest this year. While other are hoping that billy crystal returns to the academy awards, the Muppets are back in a big way, and would make for some pretty legendary MC's. Kermit -- obviously the master of ceremonies, Fozzie Bear could do the opening monologue---certain to get some giggle, and my homegirl, Miss Piggy could take over the red carpet joan rivers style. While this all seems utterly hilarious...hosting an entire show with muppets could be tricky and probably will piss off the high brows of the instituation, but we gotta give the people props for trying!
