Sundance Film Festival gets underway
The 2011 Sundance Film Festival opened this week with the new Beastie Boys film, Fight For Your Right Revisited.
The short film, directed by Adam Yauch, is a follow-up to their classic music video Fight For Your Right (To Party), and stars Seth Rogen, Elijah Wood and Danny McBride as the Beastie Boys themselves, with cameos from Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly and Jack Black.
Speaking from the red carpet, Elijah Wood said the all-star cast was a massive draw: "Reilly, Will Ferrell, Seth Rogen - what an absolute dream to work on a Beastie Boy's video. I am a huge, huge fan. To work with those comedians, it was an awesome opportunity," he said.
Police drama The Guard, starring Brendan Gleeson and Don Cheadle, also premiered on opening night.
Directed by first time Irish filmmaker John Michael McDonagh, The Guard tells the story of a village cop who faces off with an FBI agent as he chases down an international drug-smuggling ring.
Don Cheadle said: "I think the difference between small movies and the big movies is that you are here for the love of the game. It is not about the bells and whistles, you are here because you really want to do the work."
Meanwhile, rapper Snoop Dogg added a hip-hop flavour to the Film Festival's opening night, performing on the main street.
Sundance, which takes place in the ski resort town of Park City in Utah, celebrates independent filmmaking and ends on January 30.

We've been anticipating the official trailer release for quite some time now, and were even speculating a potential trailer peak following the credits for Captain America: The First Avenfger which is releasing the 22nd. Along with a low quality bootleg being leaked on the internet, weve also received confirmation that the official trailer will in fact play after the credits of Captain America: The first Avenger in place of the typical "cookie: endings we see in flicks like Iron Man. Other huge movie franchises to play trailers during end credits include Back to the future. Following part 2's credits, the flick introduced part 3 by playing the trailer for the third installment. The Avengers comes to theaters May 4th, 2012 and stars Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Samuel L. Jackson, and Don Cheadle. The film is directed by Joss Whedon. 'Fun Size' stars Victoria Justice as a snarky girl who loses her younger brother on Halloween, and chaos ensues as she tries to find him before anyone finds out that he's missing. Johnny Knoxville andChelsea Handler co-star, and you can catch this one October 12, just in time for Halloween. November 2nd you can catch Seth Rogan and Barbara Streisand as a son and mother who take a cross-country road-trip together to sell his latest invention and reunite her with a long-lost lover. . Denzel Washington stars in 'Flight' as an airline pilot who saves a flight from crashing, but an investigation into the malfunction reveals something troubling. Iron Man 3 Casting Call Reveals Scarlett Johansson Will Return as Black Widow and we have the details! This is a bit of a spoiler, so you've officially been warned!

Marvel Studios is getting ready to start production on Iron Man 3, which starts shooting this May in Wilmington, North Carolina and according to the Hollywood reporter, a new casting call has been released! This casting call reveals that Scarlett Johansson will return as Black Widow, Gwyneth Paltrow will reprise her Pepper Potts role, and Don Cheadle is back as Jim Rhodes.

The casting call also offers a brief story rundown which indicates Tony Stark will be battling "real world villains" in Iron Man 3. Heres an excerpt:
"In this third installment of the Marvel Studios' film adaptations of Iron Man, the storyline is being described by writer-director Shane Black as being aTom Clancy-thriller, with Iron Man fighting real world villains. Black stated, 'the studio wasn't happy with the result of Iron Man 2, as a result that pretty much came about due to a rushed production schedule in an attempt to hit a release date rather than simply make a good film, but I digress. Iron Man 3 will not be another, 'two men in iron suits fighting each other.'"

Iron Man 3 comes to theaters May 3rd, 2013 and stars Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson,Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle. The film is directed by Shane Black.

Iron Man 3 will be co produced in china, and ofcourse, we have the details!

According to Deadline, The Walt Disney Company China, Marvel Studios and DMG Entertainment announced that Iron Man 3 will be co-produced in China. This follows last week's news that Disney is partnering with the culture ministry and Chinese Internet giant Tencent to develop the mainland's animation business.

Iron Man 3 will be the 3rd big franchise picture to shoot in China in recent memory. Others include, Paramount's Mission: Impossible III which shot there in 2005 and Universal's The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor was there in 2007.

Robert Downey, Jr., Gwynneth Paltrow and Don Cheadle will return for the third movie in the hit franchise, whose two films grossed more than $1 billion worldwide and $42.8 million between them in China. The third installment of the movie will be directed by Shane Black.

Scarlett Johansson will NOT be a part of iron man 3, details coming your way!

With production on Iron Man 3 ready to begin, it's been long assumed that Scarlett Johansson would be reprising her role as Black Widow in the film. After all, she made her first appearance in 2010's Iron Man 2 and was even included in official casting announcements for the third film, but according to Screen Rant, Johansson's Black Widow will not be joining the adventures in iron man 3.

If you still don't believe us, and HER, Kevin Feige did not mention Scarlett Johansson in the cast list during his CinemaCon presentation. He only mentioned Robert Downey Jr, Gwyneth Paltrow and Don Cheadle reprising their roles. SO I think its pretty safe to assume, this news is official.

Though SCARJO will not join Robert Downey Jr. in iron man3, she did admit that she hopes there will be a standalone movie for Black Widow...but what do you guys think? Oscar-nominee Jessica Chastain is too busy to appear in one of the most successful film franchises, 'Iron Man 3'.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, 'The Help' star Jessica Chastain had to turn down an offer for a role in the new 'Iron Man 3' film due to the fact that she couldn't fit it in her schedule. Jessica announced via her Facebook that she couldn't fit the Marvel sequel into her calendar, which is surprising given the fact that she appeared in six films alone in 2011.

Jessica was offered the role of a scientist in the third go around of Iron Man franchise, but officially passed on the part. In a note on her Facebook wall, she wrote, "Sorry to say that Iron Man 3 isn't going to work out. My schedule is jammed packed and I can't fit anything else in. The press announced my possible attachment far too soon..."

While it's probably true the press jumped on that bit of information a bit too soon, we can't blame anyone for being excited at this possibility. We know Jessica would have been an incredible addition to the cast.

Shane Black will helm the Iron Man series for the first time, after Jon Favreau directed the first two films. Robert Downey Jr. returns as the hero, Gwyneth Paltrow will reprise her role as Pepper Potts, and Don Cheadle will again play Lt. Col Rhodes. Fresh faces will include Ben Kingsley and Guy Pearce.
