Shockwave - Here Comes The Rain Again
At a time when hard rap was transforming - a new style of Dance/R&B was fast becoming popular. SHOCKWAVE had found his place in the world of music, which has led him to open for such acts as New Shoez, Young M.C., Stacy Q, and Mary Wells, (former supreme with Diana Ross).
Shockwave has also been a model with Ellite and Cassablancas in Los Angeles. He has done Catwalk/runway spots for D&G, DKNY and Ralph Lauren. He has appeared in G.Q., Vogue and Madame Moiselle and various other magazines around the world and has been at the top of the fashion scene for a number of years.
He has appeared in television and motion pictures. A few of his many spots include "Independence Day", "The Fan", and "The Matrix". Televisions "Silk Stalkings", "Kindred: The Embraced", 3 seasons on "Nash Bridges" and the daytime soap "Sunset Beach". Gamu Nhengu wows at Mobo Awards
Ousted X Factor contestant Gamu Nhengu stole the show at the Mobo Awards in Liverpool.
The teenage singer, who has been the subject of headlines over her controversial exit from the ITV series, made a surprise appearance at the ceremony, which took place at Merseyside's Echo Arena.
As scores of fans screamed her name, Gamu said: "I am so excited. I'm so nervous. I hope I don't make a fool out of myself."
The 18-year-old Zimbabwean also found a fan in former Destiny's Child star Michelle Williams, who told her how much she enjoyed her X Factor performance. "I'm rooting for you. Whatever happens, you'll be fine", said Michelle.
Tinie Tempah and JLS were the big winners at this year's Mobo Awards, taking home two trophies each.
N-Dubz and Professor Green both scooped one.

Beyonce brings her scent to Manhattan.
The mega-star debuted her new fragrance, Beyonce Pulse, at Macy's department store in New York.
The new mom-to-be kicked off the event by posing for photos in a cream Lanvin dress - that only showed a hint of her baby bump.
Once inside the store, the singer expressed her appreciation to fans.
SOUNDBITE: Beyonce Knowles, singer, saying (English):
"I just want to thank you guys for coming today and I'm so proud of this fragrance. And I hear some of you have been waiting since last night, you all slept here - and I appreciate that so, so much. So I can't wait to meet everyone, and I hope you all love the fragrance as much as I do."
Knowles then greeted fans one-by-one, even showing her maternal side with a few young admirers.
One fan from Houston, Knowles' hometown, was excited to support her fellow Texan.

Beyonce's first NYC show kicked off last night, which was the first of four in her intimate set at the Roseland Ballroom. And from what we hear, it was killer! Sources say the doors opened at 8pm and within minutes the room was packed wall to wall. Fans then waited two whole hours until Queen Bey took the stage, telling the crowd, "I just want to have a good time with y'all. She then started the show with a cover of none other than Michael Jackson, singing I wanna be where you are. And despite hearing that Bey was only going to play her new album 4 from start to finish, concert goers say she included Destiny's Child hits as well as her own hits from the past. Throughout the concert, she told stories about her career in the music biz, from the failures to the successes. One memorable line was when she said, "They told me I didn't have one single on my album. Yep. I guess they were kind of right, I had five." Most of the videos have unfortunately been taken offline for copyright purposes, but photos have come out at least, and we're loving her gold sparkly dress with the cutout. The megastar and her baby bump were snapped by photographers before heading into screen her new concert DVD, "Live At Roseland".
In August, fans snapped up tickets for the show in a record 22 seconds, with a lucky 3,500 getting the chance to see the star over the course of four nights.
Backed by her all-female band, and an additional string section, the concert was the only time the mom-to-be performed her new album "4" almost in its entirety.
Packed with never-before-seen footage of Destiny's Child and even a glimpse of her wedding dress, the release gives fans an intimate look at the singer.

"It was like, a fan's dream DVD, like all that behind the scenes footage."
