Fall in Love Every Day - Rafe - Original Song
Fall in Love Every Day G C5 Her soft brown hair Her Golden eyes I fall in love, She passes by She passes by We're trapped within The shields we make What's strangers love We dare to take We dare to take D C G Wish that I knew what to say I fall in love every day C G D The world is a path, Everyone passes by If I could I would stop Every girl and say hi What is it that you're hoping To do with your life Or tonight Rings on her face And wildly dressed A pink Tattoo Across her chest Across her chest So many types Some kinda fright To find the one That's' kinda right That's kinda right Here's an interview my friend Adam did with me a little while ago: Rafe: I hail from Toronto Ontario. I play a lot of shows and hopefully I will pursue music over the next period of time. Adam: Who are some of your biggest influences? Rafe: I have a lot of influences. I was always very into the old school guys like The Doors, Neil Young and Dylan were my favourites. Lately though, I've been really interested in some of the new guys. I love Panic! At the disco, (or panic at the disco as they recently changed their name) fall out boy, Rocket Summer, Something Corporate, Mute Math, Regina Spektor is one of my favourites. I found this other girl on her myspace, Jenny Owens Young who I'm really into. I love Tragically Hip but I wouldn't say I sound anything like them. Adam: Who would you say you sound like? Rafe: Well, I tell people, stylistically I sound like a mix between Green Day and Billy Joel. Obviously that's not really true, it just gets people interested. I get "Something Corporate" a lot and also rocket summer. Sometimes people say I sound like Barenaked Ladies mostly because I sing really fast at some points, like in "Love in a Little Grey Box". I also am heavily influenced by John Mayer and Jason Mraz. Adam: Any songs your listening to a lot of these days? Rafe: Ya, I really like "Love Song" by Sara Bareilles. That songs a blatant hit. Also, "Say" by John Mayer I love. Oh yeah, I was never a death cab for cutie fan but...
Death Cab For Cutie "Meet Me On The Equinox"

I Will Follow You Into The Dark (Death Cab For Cutie ...
http://www.gavinmikhail.com/freesongs - Gavin Mikhail performs his piano version of Death Cab For Cutie's "I Will Follow You Into The Dark" while recording at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios. As the landslide winner of the "Lay It Down and Mix It Up In The UK" fan-vote contest, Gavin traveled to Peter Gabriel's England-based Real World Studios to begin work on his 3rd studio album. Stay tuned for studio footage, music, and interviews from the trip. FOR YOUR FREE DOWNLOAD OF GAVIN'S SONGS & VIDEOS, VISIT: http://www.gavinmikhail.com/freesongs **EXCERPT FROM AUGUST 2009 MUSICNOTES INTERVIEW: Among Gavin's most recent offerings is his piano version of the Death Cab For Cutie favorite I Will Follow You Into The Dark, which has become a hit with fans of the Stephenie Meyer - Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn books and movies. Gavin revealed that, "I've always loved playing the song, and although I'd never intended to record it, we went ahead and filmed a one-take performance our last night at Peter Gabriel's studios. Not only did the people in my camp end up loving the arrangement, but fans of the 'Twilight' series discovered the track, and we've been flooded with emails asking if I created it specifically with Edward and Bella in mind. Although that isn't the case, I'm honored that they connect with the song on such a deep level." WITH LYRICS: I Will Follow You Into The Dark Love of mine... someday you will die But I'll be close behind... I'll follow you into the dark... No blinding light no tunnels to gates of white Just our hands clasped so tight Waiting for the hint of a spark... If Heaven and Hell decide that they both are satisfied Illuminate the "No's" on their vacancy signs If there's no one beside you when your soul embarks Then I'll follow you into the dark... Catholic school as vicious as Roman rule I got my knuckles bruised by a lady in black I held my tongue as she told me "Son, fear is the heart of love" So I never went back... If Heaven and Hell decide that they both ... Distributed by Tubemogul.
Death Cab For Cutie Debuts New Moon Song
Who got to watch a five hour long version of New Moon? That scoop's coming right up! Welcome back to ClevverTV-I'm Joslyn Davis in our Beverly Hills studio. Death Cab for Cutie got to watch a 300 minute-long version of New Moon. The guys got the chance to watch an unfinished version of the film so that they could write a song for the soundtrack. The finished product is "Meet me on the Equinox." It's the first single off the soundtrack and made its debut in conjunction with the MTV VMA awards. But guys, if you were hoping that this song would provide some special inside scoop about what happens in the movie, I'm sorry to say you're not in luck! Actually, the front man from Death Cab, Ben Gibbard told MTV that the inspiration for the song is from his own life and not the lives of Edward or Bella. The song at its core is about meeting another person halfway. Gibbard admits that he hasn't read all of the Twilight books, but he based the song on the overall tone of the series. "Meet Me on the Equinox" is not what he hilariously refers to as a book-report-song, because Gibbard isn't fan of such tunes. So what do you guys think of this new song? The soundtrack is shaping up to be pretty fierce! And I think I know the answer, but would guys be able to sit through a 5 hour version of New Moon? Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson for 5 hours----I'm guessing the answer is yes, but give us your opinion in the comments section below. Stay here at ClevverTV for more Twilight updates-and in you want to be in the know all the time, subscribe to all of our channels and follow us on twitter! I'm Joslyn Davis-thanks for watching!
