The Girl in the Café
This is a fan video I've made with some clips of David Yates's fantastic TV-film, The Girl in the Café. Bill Nighy and Kelly MacDonald star (and shine :-)) in the lead roles as a lonely civil servant and a girl (respectively) who meet in a café.

No copyright infringement is intended, I own nothing. It's purely for fun, enjoy and get your hands on the film as soon as you can, it's a true gem.

Music:
Damien Rice: Cold Water
Sigur Rós: Hoppipolla (thanks to vertigogirl for the editing :-))

'Harry Potter' Director Rebooting 'Doctor Who' For Big Screen
http://bit.ly/clevvermovies - Click to Subscribe! http://Facebook.com/ClevverMovies - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverMovies - Follow Us! Hey there potter fans! Tatiana Carrier here for clevver movies with the latest on Harry Potters Director, David Yates and his latest big screen project! The potter series may be over, but wizard director David Yates is hard at work to bring another hit to the big screen, by way of Doctor Who! Doctor who plans to hit the big screen with Yates at the helm with perfect timing as "Doctor Who" -- the longest running sci fi series of all time celebrates its 50th anniversary next year. The original series ran a record 26 seasons with a popular continuation resuming in 2005 and currently prepping its sixth series. For those of you not familiar: The show tells the adventures of the enigmatic Doctor who travels time and space and who, through the course of the show, has been played by eleven different actors ---thanks to his alien ability to "regenerate" in new forms whenever he dies. Depite this awesome reincarnation effect, Yates says the film version will not tie in any incarnations into the series, he said, "It needs quite a radical transformation to take it into the bigger arena...Russell T. Davies and then Steven Moffat have done their own transformations, which were fantastic, but we have to put that aside and start from scratch." "Doctor Who" is set to return to the airwaves this December with an as-of-yet untitled Christmas special starring Matt Smith as the Doctor. SO will you guys be watching doctor who when it hits the big screen? Let us know by commenting below and be sure to stay right here on clevver movies for all the latest! Thanks for hanging out, see ya soon!
Harry Potter Director takes on Dr. Who Movie
http://bit.ly/clevvermovies - Click to Subscribe! http://Facebook.com/ClevverMovies - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverMovies - Follow Us! Dr Who fans celebrate! The time lord is coming to the big screen! Hey guys, I'm Tatiana Carrier with Clevver Movies bringing you all the top movie news Now that David Yates is done directing the last Harry Potter movie, he's looking to take on his next projects, and yes, the British director is bringing us Dr. Who to the big screen. Yates, who's directed Deathly Hallows part 1 and 2, Half Blood Prince, and Order of the Phoenix, had this to say about the last 6 and a half years working on Potter films " I feel proud of the work and I feel glad that it's behind me now, the weight of it and the responsibility of it. I'm looking forward to the next thing." . And he has every right to be proud of that series, in its entirety; the movies have pulled in a whopping $7.7 BILLION DOLLARS! Will he be able to bring that same success for the long time running Dr. Who Franchise? . It's not clear who will be playing The Doctor this time around, but Yates has made it clear that he wants to start from scratch. Right now, he's all about finding a screenwriter and a script, though he HAS hinted towards Steven Kloves, who wrote seven of the eight Harry Potter movies, to get involved in the writing process. . We still may only be 3 years away from sitting in a theatre with the newest Dr, but we want to know what you guys think of this? Do you think he'll do a good job with the british tv show, and who would you cast as the next 'Dr. Who'?
'Doctor Who' Producer Denies Movie News
http://bit.ly/clevvermovies - Click to Subscribe! http://Facebook.com/ClevverMovies - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverMovies - Follow Us! DR WHO WONT B E A REBOOT! Hey there dr who fans! Im Tatiana carrier, your host for clevver movies. Today Ive got the latest on the much talked about Dr. Who...reboot...or as Director David Yates says, NON reboot! . Just last week we reported about Dr Who coming to the big screen, and now we learn that Dr Who head steven moffat is denying many of the reports surround the WHO! . So for a little history on the topic...When MTV spoke to yates on the red carpet of the BAFTA Awards, the director was non-committal to any real news on the subject, saying only that a search is underway for a writer and a great script. ...fast forward a few months, the director made comments insinuating the film would be a reimaging of the original...however, doctor who head, steven moffat made clear this wasn't the case! . Moffat took to his twitter and cleared up all speculation! He said, "To clarify: any Doctor Who movie would be made by the BBC team, star the current TV Doctor and certainly NOT be a Hollywood reboot," . The producer further explained that technically "there simply are no developed plans for a Doctor Who movie at the moment" but "if and when the movie happens it will need to star television's Doctor Who - and there's only ever one of those at a time... Whatever happens, the BBC and BBC Worldwide will work together to ensure that we don't just get a movie, we get the movie that everyone wants." . SO what do you think about this news?! Are you pumped to hear that the Dr Who flick will NOT be a reboot? Let us know what you think in our comment section and also be sure to subscribe to clevver movies to stay updated on this story and more! Ill see you guys next time!

Ah, spring. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and flocks of beautiful people are pitching up on the red carpet outside a swanky hotel in London. It can only mean one thing: it's time for the Jameson Empire Awards 2012. The big winner of the night was Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, which took home Best Thriller, Best Actor (for Gary Oldman) and Best British Film. The Best Film of the year went to Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, Part Two, which also won Best Director for David Yates, while Olivia Colman took Best Actress for her astonishing turn in Tyrannosaur.

The Awards were voted for by the Empire reader, and it's fair to say that they reflect a wide-ranging taste. Best Comedy went to homegrown British juggernaut The Inbetweeners, while Best Horror went to the deeply disturbing Kill List. The Americans got a look-in for Best Sci-Fi / Fantasy withThor (although even that has a British director in Kenneth Branagh).

Thor's wayward brother Loki, or at least alter-ego Tom Hiddleston, took Best Male Newcomer, while Best Female Newcomer went to Felicity Jones. The Art Of 3D Award went to The Adventures Of Tintin: The Secret Of The Unicorn.

After that, it was on to the special awards for people we just think are awesome. Empire Hero was Michael Fassbender this year; Empire Inspiration went to Ron Howard ("for Apollo 13 alone, he deserves this!" as presenter Chris Hemsworth noted") and this year's Empire Icon was Tim Burton.
The full list of winners is below, and for all the madness and shindiggery of the night, check back later and tomorrow for more pictures and video from the night, and look out for an exclusive report in a future edition of Empire.
