Eclipse Trailer News: Director David Slade Reveals Details

So Eclipse director David Slade just revealed some new tidbits about the Twilight tri-quel. He revealed on his Twitter page that the edit is getting finer and finer, saying the film is a great length. Then he tweeted that first movie trailer for Eclipse is totally out of his hands and now it's up to Summit Entertainment to release it when ready. And the next post is about how he's watching the film's editing process saying "poor Jacob is on his broken rib bed, raining outside, lunch soon." So I guess we got some details from Slade about the movie, the trailer and his life. Dana Ward here for Clevver TV. Today we're just filling you in on the recent news that broke. Apparently, the editor put on the Eclipse film just got fired. This is the person who's worked with tri-quel director David Slade in post-production on other movies like 30 Days of Night and Hard Candy, but according to reports, Summit just wanted a stronger edit for Slade's material. It's being said that the new editor on the project, Nancy Richardson, better understands the emotion of the characters and really can balance the action into the movie. Keep in mind that Richardson worked with Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke on the first film in the Saga. So are you excited, disappointed or just unfeeling about this news? Obviously, there's some serious action in Eclipse, so did you get enough taste of Richardson's editing in that style? Twilight Saga: Eclipse Delay Rumors Addressed By Studio

Hi Twilight fans. Coming to you from Beverly Hills, I'm Dana Ward. Today ClevverTV is reviewing the recent reports surrounding the final Eclipse product. Apparently, rumors were circulating that key scenes in the third film need to be re-shot in Vancouver and thus, the June release might not happen. But Summit Entertainment reportedly fired back that this is not the case - in fact, no meadow or action scenes need fixing - and it will only be a 2-and-a-half day to 3-day shoot all in all. This is much different from the 3 back-to-back 18-hour shoots that was previously being talked about... Plus, it's also false that a director other than David Slade will be taking on the early-on planned reshoots - apparently, Summit is quote-unquote very happy with his work and the "creative differences" are totally off-key, with some people arguing he's the best director on the Saga thusfar. So if all of these rumors were basically laid down dead by Summit Entertainment as being completely false, why did they rise up in the first place? Where is the controversy coming from?
