Thanks to the films official website, movie buffs are treated to character profiles for 18 characters as well as a sneak preview of Trent Reznors scored for the flick! AS you know, Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara are the stars of the flick, so I had to check out their profiles first! According to her profile on the site, Lisbeth is "pale and anorexic-looking and all but mute and she radiates hostility...But "her eyes, all but lost in heavy black make-up, hint at the hurt and vulnerability inside." Craig's Bomkvist, meanwhile, is "just a financial reporter who works hard" and is "unprepared for what actually awaits him." While your on the site, make sure you have your volume turned up because the sampling of the score is on autoplay, and you get a lil preview of whats to come! The track is dark and a bit on the eerie side, which works perfect for a thriller of a movie like Girl with a dragon tattoo. Reznor and atticus Ross last collaborated with "Dragon Tattoo" director David Fincher on the highly acclaimed score of "The Social Network," so we are pretty sure this duo WONT disappoint. Thanks to our friends at the Hollywood reporter, weve just learned that thirty-five minutes worth of music from the upcoming David Fincher film has hit the web...and best of all, it wont cost us fans a dime! . It goes without saying that this is HUGE news for those of us waiting for this highly anticipated alubm! The team behind the Academy Award-winning score for The Social Network has been working on the 39-song soundtrack for the David Fincher adaptation of Stieg Larsson's novel for more than a year. The six tracks made available (35 minutes in total) give a sense of the mood that will run rampant in the film's score. . Heres a quote from Trent Reznor who did the score for dragon tattoo said, "We laughed, we cried, we lost our minds and in the process made some of the most beautiful and disturbing music of our careers...The result is a sprawing three-hour opus that I am happy to announce is available for pre-order right now for as low as $11.99. The full release will be available in one week - December 9th." . Reznor also mentioned that he and Atticus Ross scored the eight-minute trailer "separately from the film." .
