The video for the song found fairly heavy rotation on that station Brick by Brick became Iggy's first RIAA certified gold album with more than 500,000 copies sold. After completing the album, Iggy conducted a successful world tour; his 1991 performance in Paris was recorded and later released on DVD. passionnée de musique, fan de David Bowie et de Queen (elle tire son nom du titre « Radio
Gaga »).
Queen, Lady Gaga l'est sans contexte. Showgirl, elle s'est fait un nom dans les clubs avec un premier titre pop-dance contagieux « Beautiful Dirty Rich » et des performances « shock art » démentes, théâtrales, trash-glamour et sans tabou. La miss danse, chante, joue du synthé, s'improvise DJ et retourne chaque lieu dans lequel elle passe. Elle finit même son
show suspendue à une boule à facettes sur la musique d'Orange Mécanique.

C'est dans ce contexte peu banal qu'elle rencontre Akon et Red One (à l'origine de tubes pour Kat Deluna, Shakira, Enrique Iglesias, Michael Jackson?..). Stupéfaits par le personnage, ils décident de la signer sur Konlive (le label d'Akon) / Interscope et de produire son premier opus. The Fame (la célébrité) est le titre de cet album aux sonorités Pop,Dance, Rock et Urbaines. « Mon but en tant qu'artiste est de livrer un album pop d'une manière innovante », annonce Lady Gaga, qui a écrit tous ses textes, composé l'ensemble des mélodies et joué la plupart des parties de synthé.

Quelques minutes avant un set au Social Club de Paris, à l'occasion de la Full Moon Party organisée par Singha Beer, 3èmeGauche TV a rencontré pour vous Le célèbre dj canadien ... J'ai nommé TIGA.

TIGA James Sontag est né en 1974 à Montréal. Après des études sérieuses et un diplôme obtenu à la renommée Selwyn House School, il s'intéresse de près aux musiques électroniques et aux rave parties, alors peu populaires au Québec à la fin des années 1980. C'est de cette passion que Tiga instaure le Solstice, qui restera célèbre pour avoir été la première soirée rave du Québec en 1993. Tiga s'implique aussi dans la création de SONA à Montréal, un club spécialement conçu pour les afters de soirées electro. En 1994, Tiga ouvre sa propre boutique de disques baptisée DNA Records, et c'est quatre ans plus tard, en 1998, qu'il fonde son propre label, Turbo Recordings.

Tiga est certainement l'une des figures electro les plus novatrices depuis le début des années 2000. De ses célèbres remixes (pour Felix Da Housecat, Peaches, Tomas Andersson ou Scissor Sisters) à la création de son label (Turbo Recordings) en passant par ses albums plus personnels (Sexor en 2006 et Ciao en 2009).. Tiga est sans conteste l'un des piliers des musiques électroniques.

Il fait partie de la génération d'artistes qui marquent fortement un retour à la New Wave dans la musique électronique, genre musical dont il était d'ailleurs fan au cours des années 80. Il cite souvent comme principale influence des groupes de New Wave (New Order, Depeche Mode...) et les icones glam (David Bowie notamment). Il représente aussi cette nouvelle génération de Dj, se voulant populaire au dela de derrière les platines, faisant attention à son look, maquillé pour ses séances photos, métrosexuel en puissance.

Un soir de l'été 1975 à Los Angeles, l'adolescente Joan Jett, guitariste au tempérament rebelle, fait la rencontre de l'impresario Kim Fowley et de la batteuse Sandy West. Ensemble, ils décident de fonder le premier groupe rock entièrement féminin. Se joignent à cette nouvelle formation punk, baptisée The Runaways, la guitariste solo Lita Ford et la bassiste Robin. En quête d'une chanteuse, Joan et Kim dénichent dans un bar Cherie Currie, timide adolescente de quinze ans arborant un look à mi-chemin entre David Bowie et Brigitte Bardot. Après des débuts hésitants, la jeune fille gagne de l'assurance, affichant sur scène une arrogance teintée de sexualité, notamment lors d'une tournée mémorable au Japon. Mais la consommation de drogue effrénée de l'immature Cherie, ses désaccords avec Lita à propos de la douteuse stratégie de marketing de l'autoritaire Kim, ainsi que divers problèmes familiaux, viennent sérieusement compromettre son avenir au sein des Runaways.
