Oprah's Surprise Dinner Date Down Under
Well, Australia certainly hasn't been short of visiting celebrities over the last couple of months. David Beckham, Tiger Woods, Jay Z, Bono, Bon Jovi and Keisha are just a few of the names that come to mind. But without a doubt, Oprah has generated the most media hype with her lengthy eight-day stay. The star has just touched down in Sydney, Australia's largest city. Let's take a look at some of the highlights of her trip and also a special dinner date she had with a fan in Melbourne. Our NTD correspondent has the latest.

After arriving on Hamilton Island in Queensland last week to meet and greet the local wildlife, she flew to Uluru to see the iconic Ayers Rock, before touching down in Melbourne to speak to a crowd of over 10,000.

But the Talk Show Queen's appearances don't end there. Before leaving Melbourne, there was one long-lost fan she wanted to reunite with.

Megan had met Oprah in Hawaii in 2006 when she was an audience member on one of her shows. Megan gave Oprah her business card and invited her to her house if she ever came to Australia.

This brief encounter 2006 turned into the surprise of a lifetime for Megan, as she was planning just a quiet evening celebrating her birthday with friends.

Oprah then took off in her private jet to Sydney, flying into the sparkling harbour city that beamed with sunshine just in time for the star's arrival.

Oprah will stay at the Intercontinental Hotel, a hot spot for celebrities and foreign dignitaries, with panoramic Sydney Harbour views.

[Visiting Audience Member]:
"Oprah's the queen you know. I just hope she's having as good a time here in Australia as we are."

Oprah is due to tape two shows at the Sydney Opera House on Tuesday December 14th.

In the meantime, she will be enjoying a moment of rest on a trip she will never forget.

It's only two days until the 2011 Major League soccer game between England's Manchester United and the U.S. led All-Star team. And fans for both teams gather in New York to break the penalty kick world record to prepare for the matchup. Our reporter Elle Bakish, has more.

It's official, - the Guiness Book of World record title, for the most consecutive penalty kicks has been taken.

With 742 kicks, hundreds of Major League Soccer fans both young and old, gather in New York's Herald Square to help celebrity players steal the title from Germany. The previous world record was 525.

The line-up includes the soccer legend himself-David Beckham, leading player for the 2011 Major League Soccer All Star team.

[Espinoza, MLS Fan] :
"We come here for the record breaking penalty shootout. Even with this weather, it's unbelievable and we come all the way from long Island."

Also helping set the new world record was one young player-who says him and his teammates came out to set a different record straight... the rumors that American's don't like soccer...

[Marcos Sulliveres, FC Harlem Soccer Player] :
"That's not true. I was born in this country-and I definitely, love soccer."

Before Wednesday's big match-up between the MLS All-Stars and Manchester United, fans can participate in a series of events over the next two days, including the lightening of the Empire State building in both the All Star's and Manchester United team colors on Tuesday.

The sold-out game will be held at New York's Red Bull arena at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Pavlos Joseph got lost after asking stewards at the Green Point stadium in Cape Town for directions to the bathroom, and wandered into the room just minutes after princes William and Harry had finished talking to the team. Joseph met David Beckham and them promptly told the star exactly what he thought of England's performance before leaving. Joseph will now appear in court in South Africa after being arrested on Sunday.

De Rihanna, fan des dessins sur la peau, on retiendra l'un de ses premiers tatouages, qui reste aussi l'un de ses plus jolis : sa cascade d'étoiles de la nuque jusqu'à l'omoplate droite.

Pour finir, un arrêt sur la nouvelle lubie de Justin Bieber qui s'est fait tatouer au début de l'année le visage du Christ sur le mollet gauche. Explication : sa réussite serait l'?uvre de Dieu.
