The American Idol alum is pushing back the release date of release number 2 to October 5th. The album, which is called "The Other Side of Down" was supposed to come out on September 14th but David is saying that the change-a-roo is "for the best." He really is doing things right and is willing to admit that he needs a "little more time to do it." The first single from "The Other Side of Down," is already out - it's called "Something 'Bout Love." So now we've gotta know...is there something about this song that you love? I'm your girl Joslyn Davis coming to your from our new ClevverTV headquarters in Hollywood. One of the most adorable dudes in the entertainment world, David Archuleta is going on the record with Latina Magazine saying that: "You know, the time will come. I'll know when I'm ready and right now it's just not the time yet. It's when you find that person that you feel comfortable around." So for this year at least, there won't be any kissing going on for David under the misteltoe, but nothing seems to get this happy-go-lucky guy down. David's playing it smart, waiting for that right person to come along - in fact, the singer chatted with an entertainment show in Singapore recently saying that he's never been in a relationship before. But it doesn't stop there, people. The heartthrob is letting fans in on his plans for the upcoming year, telling the Salt Lake Tribune what he hopes to accomplish. He says, "The goal this year is to take the time I need to know what I want to become. I want to make my voice come through more. I want to do songs that are more vocally driven, so I can be emotional." He even went on to thank his fans, saying "I've been taking time. I really appreciate the patience the fans have shown." Sounds like he's ready to get down to business if you ask us, and we're sure that whatever he does next, it will be well worth the wait.
