Director Catherine Hardwicke Talks Leaving "Twilight" and Casting Rob & Kristen
http://Facebook.com/ClevverTV - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverTV - Follow Us! Catherine Hardwicke dishes the deets about leaving Twilight, and why Robert was really cast. Stay posted. Hi Twilighters! How's it going? This is Dana Ward for ClevverTV and we're talking insider details about the Saga. So Twilight's director Catherine Hardwicke chatted with The Daily Beast about the industry buzz that she got fired from the Saga films. She said she couldn't even be fired and her contract gave her the first right to pass on the project -- which she did, Catherine says because the studio wanted to rush New Moon, adding that she does not regret her decision. Hardwicke also spoke up about why Robert Pattinson got the role of Edward Cullen. She retells the story how she was having difficulty finding the perfect actor, and she heard about RP via photo submissions, saying that she just wasn't sure because he had been fired from his previous job, he was unemployed and he was in debt. But, as the Twilight director details, as soon as Robert met with co-star Kristen Stewart and K insisted that he had to be cast, the rest became history. So that's the latest Twilight dish for now. 'Pretty Little Liars' Winter Premiere Teaser! Who Will Die?
Watch PLL Teaser - http://bit.ly/qiR8Qr http://Facebook.com/ClevverTV - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverTV - Follow Us! Welcome back to ClevverTV. I'm Dana Ward and right now we've got the preview for the Pretty Little Liars Winter premiere. And in true PLL fashion, this January episode is going to be epic. We get to see the girls are doing some community service, which Emily and Spencer physically fighting -- but I'm thinking it's a distraction so one of the other girls can sneak away -- just a hunch. It looks like Hannah might be on a boat -- and fighting someone with her oar -- it's creepy because it's at night. Mike punches Ezra in the face. And according to the texts from "Blocked ID": Someone will go missing. Someone will die. And someone will be exposed. You can expect to see Toby in action. Plus, I'm pretty sure that we hear someone shout "Ali" at one point, so it creeps us out and we're thinking that maybe it wasn't Hannah on the rowboat who seemingly left a person for dead... At the end of the 30 second sneak peek, Emily stands in front of a dark figure -- who knows who it is as of now -- saying "you want to know what we found" and that is how we are left hanging! You definitely want to check out this footage. Pay attention to our breakdown and let us know if you notice anything else because as all PLL fans know, there are clues and secrets hidden within a lot of the scenes. We've got a link to the winter premiere preview below. I'm Dana Ward in Hollywood, see you later right here on ClevverTV.

Intruders hits theaters on March 30th, 2012.

Cast: Clive Owen, Carice Van Houten, Daniel Brühl, Pilar López De Ayala, Ella Purnell, Izan Corchero, Kerry Fox, Héctor Alterio

Though no one can see him, Hollow Face lurks in the corners, desperately desiring love but only knowing how to spread fear and hate. He creeps into the life of John Farrow (Clive Owen) after Farrow's beloved 13-year-old daughter Mia (Ella Purnell) is assaulted in their home. The line between the real and the imaginary blurs as fissures start to open within the family unit. It seems that no security measure can keep Hollow Face out.

From visionary filmmaker JUAN CARLOS FRESNADILLO (28 Weeks Later, the upcoming Highlander reboot), INTRUDERS is the chilling story of two children living in different countries, each visited nightly by a faceless being who wants to take possession of them.

One of the most popular, if not the most popular, genres today in multiplayer gaming is the ARTS or MOBA. Not wanting to miss out, Ronimo Games developed Awesomenauts, which not only brings the MOBA genre to the console, but also puts it in a 2d setting. So can Awesomenauts compete with other MOBAs or should you hard carry this game all the way to the garbage? Let's take a look.
.
The story of Awesomenauts is pretty loose. Not that there needs to be much setup in a purely multiplayer game. Awesomenauts is set in 3587 where two warring factions fight over the galaxy's resources. In order to defeat their foes, both sides hire mercenaries known as Awesomenauts to do their fighting for them.
.
As far as the gameplay goes, much like other MOBAs, creeps will spawn on either side that will award money to players for killing them. These creeps are used not only for farming solar, Awesomenauts form of currency, but also for helping to push the lanes. Each team has two turrets on both the top and bottom of the map which must be destroyed before reaching your enemie's base. The combat in Awesomenauts is fluid and extremely fun. While the game is incredibly simplified when compared to other MOBAs, it fits the style of gameplay. While other MOBAs are in an RTS setting and place a premium on positioning and timing, Awesomenauts gameplay, while it has elements of these things, is mainly focused on how you work with your teammates in a more, super smash kind of combat system.
.
In Awesomenauts, instead of leveling up your character, automatically getting better abilities, and then using your currency to buy items, you use your currency in this game to either buff your regular attacks, or to snag and upgrade special abilities. Much like any other MOBA each hero can play specific roles on the team, and if you level up can even get enhancements for their already existing powers that you can then purchase in game.
As far as the balancing of the characters, Awesomenauts is very balanced, and with only six awesomenauts currently playable, you'd expect it to be. That being said, Ronimo has promised updates with new awesomenauts added regularly, and right now I'm perfectly fine murdering people as this weird gangster frog.
.
If I have one gripe about Awesomenauts right now, it's that the game is a little too simple. While I applaud Ronimo for building an incredibly accessible, and fun MOBA, it's a game that, especially with only six current heroes, could potentially become boring quickly. I'm having a blast with it right now though.
.
Awesomenauts is very fun to play. If you're a fan of MOBAs and/or Super Smash I'd recommend picking it up. While it is a bit oversimplified, it is still a whole lot of fun to play, especially for only 10 bucks. I give Awesomenauts a 9 out of 10.
