It's super colorful, and opens with Chris Martin singing directly to camera, with the lyrics being written out in bright colors around him on the set. As the song continues to pick up, it follows the band onto a dark stage with a black light revealing the neon colors behind them. Visually the video is shot really cool, and we're loving how the graphics onscreen along with the bright colors go with the whole theme of the upbeat track. I'm Bridget Daly. The new Coldplay album is closer than ever to being done, and Chris Martin talked with Ryan Seacrest all about the finishing touches. He spoke with Ry on his radio show, telling him that despite what he'd heard, it is not done. Chris compared the recording process to getting to the final of "American Idol, adding, "In all honesty I think it will be finished in about two weeks time. I really hope so, we've worked a long time. All I know is that we have tried as hard as we can on this one." As far as the album release, Chris joked that he hoped it wouldn't happen after 2020, but then said he thinks it will be released by the end of 2011. He did confirm that the title has been chosen by the band, and while Martin didn't give it up, he did say that it's hard to spell and that they'll reveal the name in 6 weeks from now! Coldplay Announces New Summer 2011 Concert

I'm Bridget Daly reporting from ther CLevverMusic studios in Hollywood. Today we got word that Coldplay is actually coming to the states to perform this summer! They announced that they'll be playing in LA next month and get this?you can even go for free! More details on tickets in a sec. So the concert series is the fourth annual Samsung AT&T Summer Krush, which is designed to showcase the capabilities of the just released Samsung Infuse 4G. Chris Martin and the guys will kick things off right here in LA at the Los Angeles Tennis Center on the UCLA campus, and the concert series will then go to 8 other cities: Seattle, San Fran, Dallas, Nashville, New York, Atlanta, Orlando, and Chicago. Just two days later Coldplay will be hitting up Chicago for the Lollapalooza fest, and then in September they're a part of the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas. So lots of opps for you Coldplay die hards to get tickets this year! As for tickets for Summer Krush, Beginning next week, a limited number of free tickets to the Coldplay show will be available through registration at samsungsummerkrush2011.com. Chris Martin and the band played the Splendour in the Grass fest in Australia this past weekend, and found a way to honor their fellow Brit by playing her biggest hit of her career. Coldplay performed a brief cover of Rehab at the show before transitioning into their own hit Fix You. There's only audio of the performance right now, but you can hear that immediately after Chris sings the lyrics They tried to make me go to rehab, the audience chimes in and sings along. It's honestly one of the most haunting versions of the song, especially with Martin's soft vocals and the organ backing. But in a way, it couldn't have been more fitting. The band also wrote on their website, There's little that can be said about Amy Winehouse's passing that hasn't already been said. It's such a sad waste. Rihanna and Coldplay Collaborate on New Track

Hey what's up, I'm Bridget Daly reporting for CLevverMusic in Hollywoodland. We love our collaborations around here, but this one threw even us for a loop! Rihanna is reportedly on the new Coldplay album! She's teamed up with Chris Martin and the band for a track called Princess of China, and Martin talked to the UK publication The Sun about working with her. He explained that Mylo Zyloto was created as a whole piece, saying, "It has boy and girl lead characters and top of our list for the girl part was Rihanna, but it took a while to pluck up the courage to ask her." Chris went on to say he was stuttering like Hugh Grant when he finally asked Rihanna, and complimented her sound saying, "She has such an amazing voice and it's so different to mine." How cute is that? Kind of hard to imagine Chris Martin getting nervous like that. What's going to be interesting about this collabo is hearing Rihanna's strong Barbadian tone voice with Martin's more hushed tone. But hey, some of the most random collabos in the biz have been our favorites, so we really like this idea. Well finally some light has been shed on the meaning behind the title of the latest Coldplay album! Chris Martin spoke with the New York Times and explained how the band came up with the very unusual title. He said quote, "Music comes from a place we don't know," he said. "It sort of comes through the fingers and toes. So we came up with the idea of, what if you had musical digits, like xylo toes." And as for the Mylo part, Chris said, "It's just a great name. For anything." So there you have it coldplay fans! I'll bet that's NOT what you thought it meant! Da questa sera prende ufficialmente il via l'edizione 2011 dell'Heineken Jammin Festival, che si svolgerà presso il Parco San Giuliano di Mestre. In occasione della prima serata dell'Heineken Jammin Festival 2011, giunta alla sua 14° edizione, sono attesi sul palco i Coldplay, la band di Chris Martin. Per la band dovrebbero arrivare circa 25 mila fan e gli organizzatori di Live Nation sostengono che in caso di bel tempo sono attesi altri numerosissimi fan dell'ultimo momento. Chissà se la band di Chris Martin proporrà dei brani inediti a tutti i fan italiani. Questa sera sarà Cesare Cremonini ad aprire i Coldplay e il nostro cantante di recente ha dichiarato: "Li amo e li seguo fin dal loro esordio e suonare prima di loro in un Festival è come ricevere un regalo! Mi piacciono i loro dischi perchè sono completi e ambiziosi. Le melodie di Chris Martin sono eccezionali e sono un grande fan del loro batterista. Dal vivo sono grandi e la loro musica è viva come la vita che osannano." Oltre a Cremonini, questa sera vi saranno anche i Beady Eye, la band dell'ex Oasis Liam Gallagher. L'Heineken Jammin Festival 2011 si articolerà in tre serate previste il 9, 10 e 11 giugno. Per la seconda serata è in programma l'esibizione dei Negramaro, che terrà la prima data del tour Casa 69 rimandato a causa del delicato intervento di Giuliano Sangiorgi alle corde vocali. Nella stessa serata si esibiranno anche i Verdena, Interpol e Fabri Fibra. Per la terza serata, invece, sarà Vasco Rossi a chiudere la kermesse musicale.

I Coldplay hanno fatto da apripista per la quattordicesima edizione della kermesse musicale. La band di Chris Martin lo scorso 3 giugno ha pubblicato il singolo dal titolo Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall, primo estratto dal nuovo disco che sarà pubblicato nei prossimi mesi. I Coldplay poche settimane fa avevano dichiarato che i festival estivi sarebbero stati una buona occasione per presentare nuovi brani. Anche nel corso della loro esibizione all'Heineken Jammin Festival i Coldplay hanno eseguito, per la grande gioia di tutti i fan presenti, ben cinque brani inediti, tra i quali vi sono Mx e Hurts Like Heaven. La band di Chris Martin ha suonato per più di un'ora, proponendo anche tante hit del passato ed il nuovo singolo pubblicato lo scorso 3 giugno. Live Nation ha fatto sapere che 20.000 persone sono accorse alla prima serata dell'Heineken Jammin Festival per vedere i Coldplay. Prima della band di Chris Martin si sono esibiti i Beady Eye, il gruppo di Liam Gallagher, l'ex Oasis. I Beady Eye hanno proposto l'intero album Different Gear, Still Speeding. Ma colui che ha coinvolto tutto il pubblico presente è stato Cesare Cremonini che tra rock e salti ha scatenato tutti i fan. Lo stesso Cremonini pochi giorni fa aveva dichiarato che suonare all'Heineken Jammin Festival prima dei Coldplay per lui era come un regalo visto che è, da sempre, un sostenitore della band di Chris Martin. I Coldplay Incantano Madrid

Lo scorso 26 ottobre la band di Chris Martin ha tenuto prima una conferenza stampa europea e poi un concerto in Plaza De Toros de Las Ventas a Madrid, trasmesso in diretta su YouTube con la regia di Anton Corbijn, per presentare il nuovo album Mylo Xyloto, disponibile in tutti i negozi di dischi e presso tutti gli store digitali dallo scorso 24 ottobre. Nel corso della conferenza stampa i Coldplay hanno spiegato diversi particolari legati a Mylo Xyloto. Ovviamente non poteva mancare un commento da parte della band di Chris Martin sul brano Princess In China che segna il duetto con Rihanna: "Chiunque avrebbe voglia di fare un duetto con lei. Avevamo questa canzone, scritta per il suo disco precedente, "Rated R', che era scuro. La canzone ci piaceva, alla fine volevamo tenerla, e così gliel'abbiamo fatto cantare. E' una cantate straordinaria, ed è il miglior cantato che abbiamo mai avuto su un disco dei Coldplay. Non facciamo molti duetti, non abbiamo una lista, ma se lei ci fosse, sarebbe in cima". Il concerto evento dei Coldplay che si è svolto a Madrid ha coinvolto circa 15mila fan tutti muniti di braccialetti luminosi che si sono accesi quando la band è salita sul palco. La band di Chris Martin ha proposto i nuovi brani alternandoli con i loro maggiori successi. Il leader della band ha anche proposto un accenno di qualche nota di Rehab, il brano di Amy Winehouse. Il concerto di Madrid si è concluso con i fuochi d'artificio che hanno colorato il cielo. Il prossimo appuntamento con i Coldplay è per il prossimo 6 novembre a Belfast nel corso degli MTV Music Awards. Probabilmente il prossimo novembre la band sarà ospite nel nuovo programma di Fiorello, mentre a febbraio 2012 dovrebbero essere in Italia per un live.
