Last night I got the chance to attend the world premiere of the X Factor, and the show blew me away. I'd predict that yes, this show will blow all the other singing competitions out of the water?Idol, The Voice, and those other ones. I've compiled a list of spoilers that you can expect to see in season one, along with some of my predictions. First off, despite everything we've heard, Cheryl Cole does indeed appear on the show. She's on the first episode as a judge at the Los Angeles auditions, but that's as far as she makes it. Watching the premiere it was kind of hard to understand why she was kicked off the show because she's actually very pleasant to watch, not to mention absolutely gorgeous. She's super sweet to the contestants too, and her short cameo doesn't give any indication that she's getting the boot. So Cheryl fans can look forward to seeing her in the first episode. Secondly, as you may know the age of contestants was lowered to 12 which I think makes a big difference on the show. Just in the first episode, we see a handful of kids well under the age of 16 who kill it on the stage. The cameras also cut to the crowds after the performances since the auditions are held infront of an audience, and you can see the teeny boppers going nuts over the youngens. My prediction is that there are going be a ton of really young people in the finals. The next spoiler is about the judges. We're used to Simon and Paula going at each other's throats, but the real feud we're going to see this season is between Simon and... LA Reid! They devote a big chunk of time to the two of them not seeing eye to eye on numerous contestants. It looks like Simon has finally met his match when it comes to ruling the judges' table. And lastly, Steve Jones. He's the host of the show, and is super involved not only with presenting the segments, but also plays a big part backstage with the contestants and their families. He's hot, tall and British, and the ladies are going to love this guy. Mark my words?he'll be all over every magazine in no time. Also, this might be out of left field, but I definitely noticed some flirting going on between him and Nicole Scherzinger last night. They were caught giggling and staring at each other on more than one occasion, so keep your eyes on these two because I wouldn't be surprised if it turned into something. Today we were super stoked to hear that X Factor producer and judge Simon Cowell named the remaining open spots for the show's judging panel. According to his exclusive with Deadline Hollywood, Simon said that his ex-co-judge from American Idol, c and the British X Factor judge, Cheryl Cole would be on the panel. Interestingly though, an story from The Hollywood Reporter states that Cowell's rep said that nothing is set , nothing is new and it's all still playing out, adding that Paula is just one of many people being considered for the job. So it's looking like we'll have to continue to wait and see who will actually wind up in those empty chairs next to Simon Cowell and LA Reid on X Factor. I'm Joslyn Davis at our Hollywood studios with your X Factor update. After months of speculation, Cheryl Cole has been confirmed as the third judge on the show. She's had a successful run as one of the judges on the British version of the show, and has decided to cross the pond to launch the US version. Simon Cowell revealed his excitement over the news, saying how fantastic Cheryl is to work with. He joked around calling her a "complete brat," but said she's a total pro at spotting talent. CC shot right back at Simon's comments, saying quote, "He's tried to beat me for three years in the U.K., and hasn't even come close. His ego must be so bruised. America is gonna love this." Sounds like these two already have a friendly competition brewing already, and you know that makes for good TV! So to recap, the confirmed judges are LA Reid, Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole. Our ClevverTV crew was on hand at the big event, where all of the show's big names hit the stage to present X Factor to an American audience for the first time. The entertainment world and fans of Simon Cowell have been buzzing about this program for quite some time, wondering whether or not the show would have what it takes to compete with heavyweight competition shows like American Idol. Well guys, let me be the first to tell the X Factor is going to be an absolutely huge hit and it is going to completely dominate in the ratings. The show boasts a judging panel that includes American Idol's favorite former duo Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul, as well as solo artist Nicole Scherzinger, music mogul and industry icon LA Reid, and British hottie host Steve Jones -- who is likely to rank number one on every sexiest list within the next year. Here's a bit of breaking info -- contrary to popular belief, one time judge Cheryl Cole will still appear in at least the first episode as a judge. Her reasons for leaving aren't really addressed, but she still does a fantastic job. So how does it seem this show will differ from American Idol?
