2011 Billboard Music Awards Performance Highlights Recap

Keep it here for the highlights from this weekend's Billboard Music Awards! Hey guys, I'm Joslyn Davis and you're watching ClevverTV. From Rihanna and Britney to Cee-Lo Green to the incomparable Beyoncé, some of the music world's best hit the stage at the Billboard Music Awards. First up, Rihanna hit the stage to perform her hit track S&M, and towards the end of the track, none other than Britney Spears emerged from the stage totally stealing the spotlight. They sexy pair dueted and danced as the crowd went crazy. It was a great way to celebrate Rihanna's Billboard wins and to get fans excited about Britney's upcoming Femme Fatale Tour. Cee-Lo green brought us more of his trademark performance ability, and yes, in fun fashion, he was decked out in a black bedazzled suit. But the show-stopping moment came when the piano he was sitting at and playing did a full rotation, with him completely upside down at one point. Lastly was my personal favorite, Beyoncé. The iconic singer's performance was prefaced by an introduction that included her parents, her sister, her nephew, Barbara Streisand, Lady Gaga, Bono, The Dream, Babyface, Stevie Wonder and even first lady Michelle Obama, all of whom sang Beyonce's praises both as a performer and as a person. Following her all-out amazing performance, the crowd gave her a well-deserved standing ovation. What did you guys think about everyone that hit the stage at the Billboard Awards? Michael Jackson Tribute Was a Bust

Well surprise surprise, the Michael Jackson Forever Tribute Concert was a total bust. The show took place in Wales on Saturday night and ticket sales fell 10,000 short of the 50,000 person capacity. Global Live Events who ran the event put on a front all the way to the end, saying last week how excited they were about the event with ticket sales going so well. So what caused the lack of interest? Well it could have had something to do with the talent that showed up. Black Eyed Peas pulled out last week, leaving Christina Aguilera and Cee-Lo Green as the only two real stars there. Beyonce was there via video performance, but come on, that's not really the same thing. Many fans were against this concert from the start because of it's timing since the Conrad Murray trail is happening right now. Where do you guys stand? Sources say Madonna asked him to perform with her AND he's been flying to New York to rehearse with her! The insider says Cee Lo will be adding some new flair to a few of Madonna's classics. Of course neither stars' reps are talking at this point, and it's clear why they'd want to keep as many details as they can under wraps. But we love this random pairing! In related news, Madonna's performance is being choreographed by her creative director Jamie King, and the set list includes her new single Give Me All Your Luvin, Ray of Light, Vogue and Music.
