Today I've got scoop on a brand new ABC Family original movie called Teen Spirit. So here's the lowdown: the story is about Amber, who is played by Cassie Scerbo -- You guys may recognize her from Make It Or Break It. And let's just say that this character totally runs her high school. She's incredibly popular; she's obsessed with winning the coveted prom queen title, and she doesn't let anyone stand in her way. So when a freak accident takes her life, she's left with an option to save her soul. All she has to do is take the least popular girl in school and make her prom queen. Now this unpopular girl Lisa is played by none other than one of our favorites Lindsey Shaw, or as you guys may also know her as Paige from Pretty Little Liars. Apparently her character resists the change at first, but after Amber offers to help her with her crush, she starts to become convinced. So will Amber be able to change this shy and nerdy girl into a fierce confident prom queen? Or will all hope be lost once her focus turns to love. Now personally we cannot wait for this movie. 'Pretty Little Liars' Marlene King Signed on For 'The Mortal Instruments'

Today we've got exciting news for fans of The Mortal Instruments book series. We got word that another writer is signed on to the project -- at least for the first book, City of Bones. It's Marlene King -- who a lot of you guys out there know from her work on the hit ABC Family show, Pretty Little Liars. MK is set to work with the author of The Mortal Instruments, Cassie Clare, to help bring to life the story. In fact, Marlene tweeted out that she's excited to collaborate on the project because Cassie create a world like no other, it's gonna be ride and she even thanked the author, adding that the books main characters, Jace and Clary have stolen her heart. Of course, as of now, there's a 2012 release date attached to the film adaptation for City of Bones, and it's set to star Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower. So now that you know the person behind the dramatic and quite mysterious show Pretty Little Liars is on board for this project, what type of bonus do you think the film will get? Canadian singer songwriter Tracy McNeil moved to Melbourne in 2007 with only her suitcase and her acclaimed debut album Room Where She Lives, just three short days after its release in Canada.
Recorded in Toronto with the love, support and musical input of her brother Logan, the album proved a classic debut, brimming with authentic country and roots songs born of a nation that has a long and distinguished history of producing such talented artists.
Moving to Melbourne was something of a risk, but it paid off almost immediately. Tracy worked hard, playing solo shows all across the formidable musical city that is Melbourne, gaining the respect of her peers and critics alike, along with an ever growing fan base. She quickly became an integral part of the Melbourne music scene.
Something of a masterstroke started out in the most humble of ways when Tracy joined local singer songwriter Jordie Lane to form Fireside Bellows. The release of No Time To Die, a stunning album on all fronts, came in 2008. Showcasing their obvious musical chemistry and developing on a variety of influences, No Time To Die honours a mutual love for American roots music whilst staying true to the talents both artists have as individual musicians.
The album, and the duo, rightly received rave reviews throughout Australia. After a sold out launch in Melbourne, Fireside Bellows hit the road, playing festivals including the Port Fairy Folk Festival, Boogie, the Brunswick Music Festival and Queenscliff, before supporting the Eilen Jewell Band and their heroes Old Crow Medicine Show at the Forum.
After that long and successful run with Fireside Bellows, Tracy returned to her solo material with a pocket full of songs and a stellar band featuring Matt Green (electric/slide guitar, mandolin), Bree Hartley (drums) and Rod Boothroyd (double bass). The band has been honing their sound over the past eighteen months with a run of headline shows throughout Melbourne and supporting international artists Mary Gauthier, Tony Joe White and Australian sweethearts The Audreys.
With three years past since the release of Room Where She Lives, Tracy felt a follow up record was long overdue. In January 2010, the band headed into Tender Trap Studios in Northcote to record what would become her sophomore album Fire from Burning. Tracy launched Fire From Burning at the Bella Union in Trades Hall on June 11th, 2011.
