Paramore Releases New Single "Monster"
Listen to Paramore's "Monster" - http://bit.ly/mE2bl1 http://Facebook.com/ClevverTV - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverTV - Follow Us! Paramore releases its first single following the Farro brother's exit from the group. ClevverTV has the info right now! Welcome back to ClevverTV. I'm Joslyn Davis in Hollywood with info on Paramore's latest single "Monster." There are a couple of firsts when it comes to this track. First off, the song marks the debut song release from the "Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon" soundtrack. And secondly and maybe even more notably, Monster is Paramore's first song following the exit of the Farro brothers from the group. The song hit iTunes today and Billboard.com describes the song as featuring Hayley Williams crooning "seductively before guitars come bursting through the door" and we totally agree with the site about the fact that we too can see Shia LaBeouf running for his life in the upcoming movie. What do you guys think about Monster? Do you think that Paramore's sound is different in any way in this song? Either way, we love it! FYI: The Transformers Dark Side of the Moon soundtrack in its entirety will be available for purchase on June 14th and the movie hits theaters on June 29th. For updates on all your favorite bands and more, stick with ClevverTV and check out our friends over at ClevverMusic too. Until next time, I'm Joslyn Davis, see you time -- thanks for watching the show!

Glee-Cap - "Extraordinary Merry Christmas"
http://on.fb.me/loxDu6 - Facebook Fan Page! http://bit.ly/ClevverMusic - Click to Subscribe to ClevverMusic! Hey Gleeks! You're watching ClevverMusic. I'm Bridget Daly with your Glee-Cap from episode, "Extraordinary Merry Christmas." This was a tearjerker people! The episode opened with one of my fave holiday tunes, All I Want For Christmas Is You, led by Mercedes, who definitely gave Mariah a run for her money with her version! The scene then cut to Rachel, who presented Finn with a lengthy Christmas wish list, and he didn't seem too psyched on it. Sue Sylvester then had a sit down talk with some of the New Directions guys, getting them to commit to singing for the homeless at a shelter later that week?they agree, and are shocked to see such a sensitive side to Sue! Back in the Glee room, adorable exchange student Rory reveals his family doesn't have the funds to visit him this Christmas, so he'll be spending it alone, prompting him to sing the depressing tune Blue Christmas. The mood however is instantly brightened when Shu bursts in telling the kids they'll be starring in a Christmas Special to air on local TV! Will asks Artie to direct it, and everyone is super excited, until realizing ooops it's at the same time they promised Sue they'd volunteer at the shelter. The kids all agree, with the exception of Sam and Quinn, that the TV special trumps the shelter, and they move forward with their rehearsals. The TV special is a huge hit, taking place at Kurt and Blaine's home, with Rachel, Mercedes, Finn, Puck and the Cheerios all coming over to sing holiday tunes . And then Rory's cameo at the end reminds them of the true meaning of Christmas, and all the kids decide to head to the shelter to sing for the kids and hand our presents . The episode ends with Finn giving Rachel her Christmas gift?a star he's named after himself so he's always looking down at her---and yes those sparkly earrings she's been hinting at! Rachel decides she doesn't want the earrings, and she and Finn sell their presents and use the money to donate it to the needy, finally realizing what the season is all about. See I told you, tearjerker of an episode! And speaking of crying, I want to weep knowing the show won't return until February!!! What did you guys think about the episode? What's up gamers and welcome back to Clevver Games, I'm your host Andrea Rene here with the news you've been waiting for! Well, if you are a Mass Effect fan that is. Bioware has revealed some of the pre-order bonuses for their upcoming RPG epic, Mass Effect 3. . The game is scheduled to launch on March 6th so you have plenty of time to decide which pre-order bonus looks good to you. Everyone who pre-orders, no matter where you pre-order from, will receive the M55 Argus Assault Rifle. This high powered rifle unleashes rapid-fire bursts to help you bring down Reaper troops. . If you pre-order specifically at GameStop you'll get the M55 and the N7 Warfare Gear pack which includes the high caliber fire of the N7 Valkyrie Assault Rifle. You'll also be able to beef up your defense with the N7 Defender Armor which increases your health, shields, weapon damage, and ammo capacity. . If you decide to pre-order from EA's own Origin for PC you'll get the AT-12 Raider Shotgun along with the M55. This close-range weapon fires a large pellet spread ensuring a target take down. It is designed for superior rapid fire so you'll be able to use it in close quarters when you're overwhelmed by enemies. . Now if you've already pre-ordered the N7 Collector's Edition you will be automatically rolled-in to the bonuses, meaning, if you pre-ordered at GameStop, you'll get the N7 Warfare Gear and if you pre-ordered at Origin you'll get the Raider Shotgun. And again, everyone who pre-orders gets the M55 Argus Assault Rifle. . Bioware and EA will be announcing pre-orders through other retailers in the near future and I'll be sure to bring you those details right here on Clever Games so make sure to subscribe to not miss any details. Thanks for watching, I'm Andrea Rene and I'll see you next time!
Jill Stuart Fall 2012
Appropriate fan, Twilight star, Nikki Reed, sitting front row loved the new collection...?I'm a huge fan"she says.

The designer chose darker hues this season -- cobalt, raspberry and plenty of black, which she describes as a, ?romantic, moody palette.?

All very rocker girl with a touch of sweetness. Loose fitting jackets, little black dresses with bursts of metallic, airy rose prints and exquisite embroidery add a feminine touch.

It's all about a, ?beautiful play of embroideries and prints in the same motif, Stuart says. On the beauty front-- Messy, party girl-esque hair and sultry eyes; black eye liner and two tones of deep purples on top and bottom. For the lip, a light pink stain.

Sound Engineer - Nick Smith
Audio & Video production by Joe Lynch and Brian Levin

PRESENTED BY KATIE WARNER

This Austin-based trio, led by the powerful guitar riffs and ethereal vocals of frontwoman Lauren Larson, has drawn comparisons to Sonic Youth and Blonde Redhead, while mapping out their own post-punk alternative terrain. The opening shimmers of "Rubicon" show amazing complexity for the three-piece, while "Burst" turns up the sizzle until the pop hooks melt into the layered tonal patterns. Their second album, Phantoms, is packed with loose rock influences that converge into swaths of pure beauty. The guitars encircling the pulsing rhythms of "The Push," the explosive tension percolating throughout "Run Wild" and the potent drum rumbles that puncture the shoe-gaze aura of "Dancing Blind" are the sounds of an expert group pulling out all the stops. Rolling Stone magazine named them one of the nation's best unsigned bands before they were snatched up by their current label. The notice came after impressive performances at various music industry showcases. Said to be recorded at various Austin studios, living rooms and closets, Phantoms is an expression of well-defined talent.

ABOUT THIS SONG:-

Our community recently lost an amazing friend, activist, teacher, and music fan. Esme Barrera was murdered early New Year's Day at her home in central Austin.

I had the honor of working with Esme for 4 years at Girls Rock Camp Austin. We rarely encounter people so inspiring -- whose compassion and joy are contagious. Esme was the unique gift of a person who could ease a new girl's fear at Rock Camp with a hug -- who a Waterloo customer remembers for her smile -- who a local band remembers for rocking out in the front row. Esme was the epitome of awesome.

The day after I heard the news she was gone, I went into Resonate Studios with Louie Lino to track a song I'd been holding inside for a long time and that I wanted to dedicate to Esme. Louie offered to add keyboards and the result of this January afternoon is what you hear above.

During recording, I learned that Esme once lived above the studio and was a dear friend of Louie and his family. I've been overwhelmed with how many people her light has touched. Even now Esme is inspiring our community and bringing people together. This song is simply an attempt to honor that inspiration and to give something back. Thank you, Esme, for all that you gave and thank you, Louie, for working with me on this song.

100% of all sales will go straight to Esme's family. Please give what you can through naming your own price for the song or by donating directly to www.forouresmeb.blogspot.com.

TUNE IN AGAIN SOON FOR MORE FROM BALCONYTV AUSTIN!!!
JEFF MAY
PRESENTED BY TOM MILLET

CHICAGO MAG (07) ): The talented Mr. May is an Australian analog to Ron Sexsmith. May's songs are direct and to the point and highlight his achingly wonderful voice. There are bits here that remind me of Jeff Buckley, Neil Finn and Ronnie Lane, too. This is pretty good company to mentioned in, and May is quite deserving of such lofty praise. The Sexsmith comparison comes through very strongly on "Sad Is Somehow Beautiful". It's just obvious in the gentle, flowing melodies. The song has two primary melodies that compliment each other perfectly. This song radiates tenderness and empathy. May's slightly sandpapery voice is perfect on the loping "Two Hours a Day", which comes closer to Crowded House/Squeeze territory. This song has an instantly memorable chorus, as he sings about a woman who has spent "five long years in a cocktail dress/two hours a day trying to look your best." Let's just say her life hasn't turned out quite the way she would have liked. That track features the drumming of the late Paul Hester of Crowded House, who also provides a strong contribution to the 'rockingest' number on the record, "The Fever". The track contrasts a slinky rhythm with a little burst of floating melodic guitar. While the full band tracks are all terrific, on songs like "You Know It's Over" and "St. Patrick's Eyes", spare accompaniment spotlights May's vocals to great advantage (though on the latter, the band does come in to add a bit of drive). This is a very compelling piece of work.

HELEN BARRADEL (IMPRESS MAGAZINE) Hearing Melbourne songsmith Jeff May's debut album Confessions, made me feel like the ghost of Elliot Smith was in the room, messing with my stereo. The first track, When I Lay Awake At Night, finds the Dublin born May as a dead ringer for the recently departed Smith and felt so disconcerting that I pressed stop and took the album out of the player. As a huge fan of Smith, an artist of such pure originality with a never-to-be-heard-again voice of a generation...well, to have someone else channel him in this way, well I wasn't having any of it. Thank God I changed my mind and hit play again a few days later. The rest of Confessions is truly impressive - 11 tracks that differ so greatly from the opening song that it feels like a completely separate record. Lying somewhere between Jeff Buckley and Ryan Adams' starker work with hints of Smith present, May has a keen eye for poetic detail, melodies with great hooks and a voice like syrup. A wonderful addition to the already exquisite layered textures and beautiful production from Richard Pleasance is that the late, great Paul Hester of Crowded House drums on the record. The outstanding I Have My Judgement is a leaf torn straight from Buckley's book. The stirring I Still Believe In You is a stripped back ballad with striking harmonies - why this track hasn't made high rotation on radio station play lists is an absolute crime. And remarkable tracks like Surrender or She Likes To Sing reveal the nucleus of what Jeff May's music is all about: sad eyed observations, original and inspiring compositions and an unmistakeable ambience that drenches each of the record's 12 songs and establishes May as an artist with a grace and style all of his own. With Buckley and Smith on the other side, the world needed somebody who would not fill their shoes, but follow close behind. In Jeff May, we have found just that. Inspiring.
