I'm Joslyn Davis in Hollywood, and if you've been thinking, 'Where has Vanessa Hudgens been?' you're not alone. Fans will be happy to know the 22-year-old actress has been shooting a new film in NYC! Vanessa is starring in Gimme Shelter, a film about a pregnant teen who's been alienated by her Wall Street father because of her decision to have her baby. The movie follows her desperate journey for survival in the streets. Vanessa took to her facebook page, writing "Hey guys, what's happenin? I have been so stupidly busy working on Gimme Shelter. I'm so excited and proud of the work I've been doing and let me tell you, you all are going to be SHOCKED with how I look in this movie. It's crazy sauce. Lol." Seeing VH as a pregnant, homeless teenager is definitely different. Vanessa has one more week left of shooting before she says goodbye to the set of Gimme Shelter, which also stars Brendan Fraser and Emily Meade. The indie drama is scheduled to hit theaters in 2012.
