Oprah's Surprise Dinner Date Down Under
Well, Australia certainly hasn't been short of visiting celebrities over the last couple of months. David Beckham, Tiger Woods, Jay Z, Bono, Bon Jovi and Keisha are just a few of the names that come to mind. But without a doubt, Oprah has generated the most media hype with her lengthy eight-day stay. The star has just touched down in Sydney, Australia's largest city. Let's take a look at some of the highlights of her trip and also a special dinner date she had with a fan in Melbourne. Our NTD correspondent has the latest.

After arriving on Hamilton Island in Queensland last week to meet and greet the local wildlife, she flew to Uluru to see the iconic Ayers Rock, before touching down in Melbourne to speak to a crowd of over 10,000.

But the Talk Show Queen's appearances don't end there. Before leaving Melbourne, there was one long-lost fan she wanted to reunite with.

Megan had met Oprah in Hawaii in 2006 when she was an audience member on one of her shows. Megan gave Oprah her business card and invited her to her house if she ever came to Australia.

This brief encounter 2006 turned into the surprise of a lifetime for Megan, as she was planning just a quiet evening celebrating her birthday with friends.

Oprah then took off in her private jet to Sydney, flying into the sparkling harbour city that beamed with sunshine just in time for the star's arrival.

Oprah will stay at the Intercontinental Hotel, a hot spot for celebrities and foreign dignitaries, with panoramic Sydney Harbour views.

"Oprah's the queen you know. I just hope she's having as good a time here in Australia as we are."

Oprah is due to tape two shows at the Sydney Opera House on Tuesday December 14th.

In the meantime, she will be enjoying a moment of rest on a trip she will never forget.

Ben Stiller's new role as philanthropist
Actor Ben Stiller is using his star power for a good cause.
The actor has teamed with some of the world's best known contemporary artists to raise money for the rebuilding of Haiti.
Stiller will host an auction at Christie's in New York with all proceeds going to support non-profit groups already working on the ground in Haiti - with a focus on children's education and healthcare.
SOUNDBITE: Ben Stiller, actor, saying (English):
"If we don't stick with it, the people that are trying to help Haiti, if we don't keep shining a light on it then nobody else will. That's what an auction like this is really great for. Besides the money that we're going to raise, hopefully the awareness - being able to talk to people like you and to remind people that there's still rebuilding. There's still 600,000 people still living in tents there. It's going to be years and years before they are going to be able to come back to normalcy."
Stiller says he was inspired after reading about a charity auction put together by Bono and artist Damien Hirst that helped raise money for (RED), the singer's AIDS foundation.

"The first person I went to was Jeff Koons just because I had run into him at an event and I was a fan of his work. He's such a nice guy and I was talking to him and he seemed very approachable. So, I asked him and said look, this is, we're trying to raise money for Haiti, and he immediately came on board. Having Jeff Koons as the first person to come on board was a great start for us. Then I was able to go to David, and David went to his artists in his gallery and everybody just had such a great response off the bat."
Koons donated a steel silhouette of a bikini bottom to the sale, estimated to bring in between $500-700,000 U.S. dollars.
The "Artists for Haiti" auction will be held on September 22nd.

The Glastonbury Festival is just two days away and one of the headlining bands has hit a rough patch. They may be one of the world's most popular bands, but according to reports, the members are disagreeing over their setlist for the event. Drummer Larry Mullen Jr talked with BBC1 and said playing the festival will be a challenge for them because it's totally different from playing a show on their 360 tour. He said it'll be hard for them to pull off a good show without all the bells and whistles. Mullen went on to say everyone is disagreeing over the setlist, explaining quote, There are an awful lot of opinions. Well whatever they decide upon, it's definitely one of the most highly anticipated parts of the festival, especially since they were forced to cancel their appearance last year because Bono needed back surgery.
